The was more of a test post to get the hang of hosting pics online.  Now that I know I can do it, updates will be coming shortly.

Feedback / James D's feedback
« on: January 15, 2005, 08:19 AM »
Looks like I'm the first to post about what a great transaction I had with James D.  He hooked me up with a complete set of regular series 1 Kubrick for a great price.  All arrived in great shape and were shipped fast.  First dealing a success.  Don't hesitate to deal with James.

Watto's Junk Yard / Mikey D is now Daddy D

 ;D

We've known for about a month now, but there is always that waiting period until you decide to tell family and friends.  We broke the news to our parents at Christmas.  Both mothers cried hysterically.

Jen is almost three months along and the baby is due at the end of July.  Her and baby are doing great.  She doesn't want to know the sex, whereas I do.  I just have to work on that.  ;)

Both excited and nervous at the same time.

Modern Classifieds / WTB: Kubrick
« on: January 4, 2005, 09:58 AM »
I'm a virgin in this whole Kubrick craze, so my wants are pretty extensive.  I would like to get this sealed in baggies / boxed.  I would also like to get as many as possible from one source to save on shipping.  I have pending deals for series 1, series 2 and the three common figs from series 3.

Series 2
chase Indy  ::)

Series 3
Lando
C-3PO
AT-AT Driver
Chase Han

Boxsets
Early Bird  ::)
Speederbike
TRU 5 pack

I might also be interested in other chases (Bobas, Band member, vinyl Jawa, Logray, etc.) and carded if the price is right (and I can afford them) but they're not my priority right now.

PM here is the best way to get a hold of me.

Thanks-
Mikey

Hell of game last night to start the 2004 season of what could possibly be a glimpse of the AFC Championship game.  The Pats win streak is now at 16 in a row, three short of the all time record.

The D-line needs work (Ted Washington going to the Raiders leaves a huge - no pun intended - hole).  But they found a way to win, like they always do and that's all that matters.  And to do it against the Colts is a plus.  This loss may get into the Horses' heads and affect them.  They'll always be thinking that they can't beat the Pats.

Well, it's here.  The Yanks - Devil Rays are playing as I type over in Japan and Opening Day in the States is here in 5 short days.

Who you got to win?  What teams will surprise people this year?

I think, much like last year, the Red Sox and Yankees will beat the sh!t out of each other once again.  And I also believe if one of them falters, then Toronto could be right there lying in the wings.

My predictions:

NL East:  Phillies
NL Central: Cubs
NL West: Giants
NL WC: Houston

AL East: Red Sox (got to give the love to the hometown boys, plus I think they have the better pitching staff)
AL Central: Royals
AL West: Mariners
AL WC: Yankees

Surprise teams:  Toronto and Baltimore should make the AL East interesting and could possible contend, especially if the Red Sox or Yankees don't do as well as expected.

GO RED SOX!!

Modern Classifieds / DVD wanted
« on: February 27, 2004, 07:39 AM »
Does anyone have this dvd still sitting on their store shelves?  Due to my complete ineptitude and laziness, I never got around to picking it up and now, of course, I want it.  I know it's OOP, but figured it might be sitting on shelves in other parts of the country.  If anyone can help me out, please PM.  Thanks

That's right.  If you're a child of the 80s, everyone's favorite gross out trading cards are making a comeback.  Read all about it here.

I had fun collecting these back in the day.  In fact I even went as far as designing some of my own.  I had a composition notebook filled with my own creations, such as "Bloody Mary" (a vampire), among others.  Man, I wish I knew where that notebook was.

What do you think?  Another 80s property trying to recapture old glory ala GIJoe and Transformers geared towards the twentysomethings that were their original customers or are they trying to snare the GenXers of today?  I think its the former, kids now a days have seen alot worse.  I must admit, I'm mildly interested in checking these out.
