While it may seem like they'll be copying Marvel with their villain choice (at least to the common masses), to be fair, what other DC villian could unite DC superheroes at once?  Joker?  An all time great villian to be sure, but no where near the the threat to unite 7 heroes at once.  Luthor? Maybe, but not likely.  The only other I can think of is Doomsday, but I still consider him a Supes villian, even though he technically fought the JL in his first appearances (on the way to killing Supes).

Saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse last night.  Pretty damn enjoyable.  Not the most rambunctious crowd I've been a part of, but most everyone in my area seemed to enjoy the show.

Walk Like a Giant was epic and stole the show.

Obviously not a lot of activity in this thread and I haven't bought one of these figures, but I'm always considering it.  King Ghidorah is the latest one released and it's so massive and beyond awesome it hurts not to own it.  I wish I wasn't so far beyond on my Sideshow collection and spending money getting my arm sleeved, because these figures would be at the top of my collecting wants.

With that said, this may be the figure that bites me in the ass...

New figures shown at NYCC were Black Panther, Hawkeye and Phoenix (white version).

Pretty lackluster...

Sweet...I'm guessing the Spider Rescure and Barrell Escape were pushed from Movie 1 to Movie 2 and Lego had to cover their asses.  I am really looking forward to this movie.

That's the consensus from the interwebs.

Looks like you have to buy all the sets to get the 13 dwarves, but at least there's no double dips like there was with the LOTR sets and the Fellowship.

I know we've seen all of them before, but it looks like they're using Kili and Fili to get the chicks in the seats (similar to Legolas and to a lesser extent Aragorn in LOTR).  They really stand out compared to all the other hairy short dudes.

Chicks are going to be pissed by the end of the series...

Loving that Balrog.  It'd be nice to get that in a set someday.
