I prefer the Velveeta Shells and Cheese. Its the white trash in me.  ;D

'Tis what I had for dinner last night...

Well if they were found in NC, it would figure. The two weeks I'm out west would be the ones in which the Carolinas get hit.  ::)

Please make it stop, or convince Chris and the gang to let us have a special area to continue it in or something - but don't make me use the stupid padlock crap...

While I would personally love to see a War and Politics forum, I can understand the staff's concern, given with how W&P went at RS.

As a general aside, we're currently passing legistlation here in SC to make Child Molestation a capital crime.

A little over two years after my banishment, I can't say that I care either way about RS. There are plenty of douchebags out there and, like in the real world, I try to avoid them on the internet.

Not a chance in hell. I generally don't like the 6 inch scale, and would not be willing to spend my money rebuying characters in a different scale after 11 years of collecting 3'3/4 inchers.

I can't make it either. Reading through the thread, I've seen a lot more people say they'd like these chats to happen on weeknights than on Saturday nights, so I'm not sure how Saturday managed to be chosen for the chat date.

That image isn't from Dark Horse, it's from a SW Insider 'Holonet' article a few years back.

Photonovels and Movies / New, non-SW 'Photonovella'
« on: June 23, 2006, 09:07 PM »

Greetings, everyone! Over the past few weeks, I've been quietly producing a new, non-Star Wars photonovel that, I think, could more accurately be described as a photonovella, since the series, in and of itself, is comprised of 3 different installments.

*As you can see, "The Great Atomic Power" takes place in Berlin after the Russians drop an Atomic Bomb on the city, after relations between the west and the USSR devolve over the conflict in Korea. The PN is careful to avoid becoming 'preachy' inregards to nuclear weapons and politics (as many peices of historical fiction often do when dealing with similar subject matter), although there are occasional quips between the soldiers which serve as comic relief in a story that is, for lack of a better word, apocalyptic.

My question to the esteemed members of the board is this: Would you be interested in seeing a non-SW photonovel?, and if so, what do you think of this project?

Contents of PN are subject to change before final release.

My Wally's have been getting in Panzer's again...is there something I've missed? I thought the days of the Panzers were through, but I guess not.

Also, what news of the MiG-15? That's a fighter I've been longing for as long as some were for the Avenger.

Not unlike some of the others who have already contributed to this thread, I didn't know Shannon very well. Read a post here, had a brief conversation with her in the chatroom there...but inspite of that, Shannon's reputation and composure at JD and GH endeared her to not only myself, but to the entire collecting community.

Shannon, you will be greatly missed by all those who knew you. My thoughts go out to your Familiy, and especially to your son. May they take care during these times of sorrow.

Goodbye, Shannon, and good luck.  :'(
