Great finale.  The only thing I would have changed was that line Michael Scott delivered about his children getting married.  It was really funny, but it would have been so awesome if the only thing you hear his character say in the final episode was "That's what she said!"

Nice.  I really love the look of the vintage stuff.  So cool.

I'll check it out.  I do have some vintage books like OT novelizations and things of that nature.  I don't want to devote a ton of time to going through all of this, but at the same time, I don't want to get screwed.

I have to say that Giamatti looks pretty bad ass.  Who'd have thought that anyone would ever type out that statement?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this...

Back in the day (the 90's) I was big into collecting Star Wars novels.  I have lots of hard covers and paperbacks (some of the same title) and I bowed sometime between TPM and AoTC.  I have all these books stored now, but I'm ready to let them go.  My question is: does anything from this time period stick out to the collector in the know as valuable?  I plan on putting these out at a yard sale unless there is some interest/value that I am not really aware of.

I know without a list this is a difficult question, but is any of this worth anything?

No joke, the ceramic frogs line made me literally LOL at my desk.

I'd love for them to revive the Rogue Squadron series.

Agreed.  The choreography of every action sequence in the film is so impressive.  I thought that Rhodes was (again) underdeveloped, but minor quibbles as you said.

I agree with Bill.  I thought this was better than 2 but not as good as 1.  I liked the twist. SPOILERS AHEAD:

Without the twist, Mandarin is just Bane.  That would have been too Batman-like since the first thing I thought of when I saw Killian was Jim Carrey's portrayal of The Riddler.  In the end it was handled better, but Pearce's take on the nerdy Killian was a bit cringe-worthy.
The after-credits coda was funny, but a little disappointing.

I think that Avengers 2 will center around getting Stark to "suit up" and save the day.

Well said, Jesse.  It isn't like Lucasarts has raised the bar in recent years.

That is what is so great about this show.  While many moments have an OMG! factor to them, I think Dany's knowing the language and turning the tables was fairly telegraphed, but boy did they ever deliver that in an entertaining fashion.  Even when you have an idea that something is going to happen, when they finally execute, it is always so well done.

Started watching this series on BD (borrowed from a friend) the day after The Walking Dead ended.   Caught up to this week's episode last night.  Would have been even faster but I had to wait a while between seasons.  I think that this show may be my favorite ever.  So damn good.

You could have knocked me over with a feather when Ned Stark...happened.

Tracy is 100% correct.  The women are so strongly written in this show it is unbelievable.  The writers are so good at their craft that they can make a person feel pity for even the loathsome Jamie Lannister.
