"By Crabby Internet Fanbois" should be a sub-heading for this "list."  What a load of crap.  While some of these films as sequels don't live up to some of their earlier films' quality, some aren't THAT bad.  Any list that has IJ:KotCS and TPM so near the top has to be laughable.  To put either of these above any of the Transformers debacles, Battlefield Earth (UGH!!!!!), Catwoman or Batman and Robin is ridiculous.  THOSE are really crappy movies.

Also, and I know I am a voice in the wilderness on this, PLENTY of people liked TPM until it became "cool" to hate it and the box office shows it, even with the rerelease.  This would also apply to Titanic and DEFINITELY to Forrest Gump.

I also doubt the Empire was hiding the construction of the DSII from the alliance.  Remember, that just before they used the DS on Alderaan, the Emperor disbanded the senate.  Up until this point, he still had to "play nice" to an extent until his full military might was in place to take over every aspect of governing the citizens.

Cripes.  What started as a quick reply turned into the plot for Episode 3.5.  Lucas would be proud.

I said before this line launched that how that movie does will be very telling of this line's future, and I think the movie has done worse than they anticipated.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I think TPM3D did pretty much what they projected it would.  The BD is already planned for spring, so it doesn't sound like they expected this to sit in theaters for months and months...

I read that too.  I don't think he makes a case, but he does bring up a few interesting points.

I read once that one F-bomb gets a film a PG-13 rating, and two is an automatic R.  Not sure if that holds water.

I searched my cable company's guide, including their iPad app, to no avail.  The AMC website shows a marathon immediately preceding the new episodes on 2/12  The mini-marathon starts at 1:30PM.  Season one airs the night before for those wishing to catch up on all 13 episodes.  Thanks for the advice, Matt!
