I am watching for a S2 marathon, so if anyone catches wind of it, a head's up here would be super-appreciated!

The show returns February 12th.  I would expect a marathon all day.
I searched my cable company's guide, including their iPad app, to no avail.  The AMC website shows a marathon immediately preceding the new episodes on 2/12  The mini-marathon starts at 1:30PM.  Season one airs the night before for those wishing to catch up on all 13 episodes.  Thanks for the advice, Matt!

I think this tops my "Most Anticipated" list for the year.  I have been waiting 30 years for this movie.  It looks awesome, and I love Joss' work.  Can't wait!

when a crowd of 2+ people walk side by side and don't allow any room for people walking in the other direction.

Ugh, that pisses me off too.  If there are four of you, then walk 2x2 down the hallway and leave some room dammit.  You don't have to be 4across, arm-in-arm like you're skipping down the friggin' yellow brick road or something.   ::)

This!  Also, don't walk in the door of Target or Walmart or the grocery store and then stop dead in the entrance and try to figure out where you're going.  I can't tell you how many times I've almost run over someone from behind because they walk in the door and just stop.

Like Jman said, one of these days I'm going to just start pushing people out of my way.  I have a feeling that the first time I find myself standing over some Cornell ******bag, who is face down in the Target entrace with my boot on his neck, it's going to be the happiest day I've ever had.

   E...

This one is right near the top of my list.  God does this irritate me!

I don't know if I've posted it before, but people who don't understand the right of way.  And I don't mean people cutting me off...I mean people who think they're being nice by yeilding their own right of way.  I get it all the time here...waving me out to go first at a four way stop, waiting to turn off of a main road so I can enter it first, waiting to enter a roundabout when I'm still half a block away...sweet lord, the roundabouts.

You're not being nice...you're making the road confusing and unsafe for both of us.
Well said!  This bugs the crap out of me too.  The entire idea of right-of-way is so that drivers will be able to predict who will do what in a given situation.  Those who take it when it isn't theirs are just a touch worse than those that yield it when they shouldn't.

Neat.  I am sure a lot of long-time collectors are happy now.

Let's speculate on the future...

What are your picks for "big vehicle" for the rest of the releases?
AOTC: Not sure here...  Maybe Padme's ship?  Not a lot of fun there...
ROTS: Same here...  Padme's ship is all that stands out to me...
ANH: Tantive IV for sure
ESB: Rebel Transport
ROTJ: Perhaps... at long last...  Jabba's Barge?

What kills me about this is that they assume the guy was the scammer.  He had to contact corporate to get satisfaction.

It takes some dedication to get abs like that.

My main problem with some of the costumes, and not just this one, is that the comic versions that everyone loves don't necessarily work in the real world.  Not only do they not always look good, Wonder Woman, but they don't seem practical.

Wolverine in his yellow/blue/black outfit is classic, but I'm going to be honest, the leather outfit from the X-Men films was way more badass for the real world.  The Captain America outfit from the film? Liked it much better than the tights version we're getting in Avengers (at least based on the promo photos).

There are outfits that I like in the comics but when you think about what a superhero would wear in the real world in 2011 there's a big difference.  Someone not bulletproof, like Batman, is going to use rip-stop, puncture resistant and bulletproof material wherever possible, not go to Jo-Ann Fabrics and buy a bunch of spandex.  The only exception I can think of to this is Spider-Man.  I think the spandex look from the films worked.

Well said.

I saw the Trailer at Sherlock Holmes on Friday.  Looks like the third one will be as good as the others, though I'm skeptical o Bane as a villian.  It had heavy messaging that this was the last story - have they flat out said there will only be three?  Or are they going with the comic storyline where Bruce is broken and someone new will need to take up the mantle for the next movie?  Seems kind of a shame to just end at 3 since these latest versions have been done so well.

I remember when that first pic of Ledger as the Joker leaked how angry the internet was, and how many people were skeptical of the portrayal.  What did we end up with?  One of the greatest comic book performances of all time.  Nolan has yet to make a bad movie.  I have complete faith that he won't pull a Spidey 3 on us.

This thing is pretty darned cool.  The fact that you can pull that chair out and put the old Rex in there is beyond awesome.  This attention to detail is something that Hasbro should have.

Finally got around to renting dark side of the moon this past weekend. It was playing but I can't really say I watched it.  What an unwatchable mess.  Just scene after scene of indiscernable chaos.  I honestly don't think I could tell you what it was about.
I totally agree.  They could have easily snipped a half hour from the film and hurt nothing.

I also hate the swearing and gratuitous violence in this as it is marketed to children, and it is sort of needless.
