I'm more surprised that Paul Anka is still alive and doing shows than the fact that it snowed in Las Vegas.

We had a little snow last night, I just got back in from shoveling it. It's -28°C & it feels like -35°C. Going to be a cold Christmas thus far with day temps around the mid twenties & lows to -34°C. Kinda warms up after the holiday with more snow...lovely.

I love TX weather.  Three days ago we have some "icy" conditions, some schools closed.  Yesterday and Wednesday it's foggy all day long and wet with some drizzle, temp in the 50's and 60's.  Today, it's going to be 70* outside.

Then this weekend, we'll drop back down to cold again.

Just got done shovelling the 12" of snow that came down.  I hate not having a snow thrower.  With the snow plows, the end of my driveway was about 4ft deep...

Rain all day today...  Creeks are swollen and it's rough going on the roads with hydroplaning, but at least it ain't snow.  If this were snow we'd be in some deep **** right now.

I'm dealing with the same 12" of crap that I am Sith has.  However, I've got a snowblower.  Still took two sessions to get it cleared off.  I think we clear for about 36 hours before the next bout hits.  Merry Christmas!

Man is it flipping cold out, -26°C & just dead air. I went shopping for a couple of hrs & the roads are greasy. Tomorrow it warms to -20° then the next few days before X-Mas the high's are -28°C & dipping down to -39°C. Holy lick!

Colder in Minneapolis than it is in Winnipeg right now.  That doesn't happen very often.

We had a power outage today at work, which was pretty handy because I could send my staff home and call it a day at only 12:30, but it's a little scary how cold it gets inside when there's no heat and it's -25C outside (and it could be a hell of a lot colder).  We lost power at 10am and by noon it was getting awfully chilly.  Power was restored around 4pm, but it makes me think we need to do a little more "disaster planning", especially for cold weather.  :-\
