Cassell probably won't play...Wolves go down in 4 :'(

Great game betwixt the Pacers and Pistons last night, Miller hit a huge shot at the end of the game.

Watching it though, there is no way either team will beat the Western team

Oh, and it seems like Cassell actually might play tonight.  Play is the key word...his injury cannot be understated but it might be lessened if Hudson were around too :'(

Yeah, it still doesn't bode well with heading to the wet coast, but hey, it is even.  Nice. :)

Aaaaaaaaaaawoooooooooo

8 Turnovers...wow what a difference that makes

Lakers looked unispired

Malone got ejected, he's one of the dirtiest players in NBA history, I admire his abilities but hate him as a player.  Retire you washed up fossil

No Sammy C means no wins in LA, he should sit out game 3 and try it for game 4....especially with Bryant missing part of game 4 for having raped a girl in Colorado

Thinking about it again, I think Sammy should rest until Game 5, with Kobe missing a big part of Game 4, there is a chance we can steal that one with Martin at the Point which means a healthy Cassell back here might be enough to send the momentum our way

Aaaaaaaawooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Yeah, great game yesterday, and happy to see the Wolves win one.  I'm with you Scott, I really think if the Wolves were at 100%, they could take the Lakers, or at least take them to 7 games.  Series is tied up, if they could get a split out in LA, I'd be pretty happy.  Martin played very well yesterday, and WallyWorld was back at it again as well.  A dirty game though, got pretty physical.  I agree with you about Karl Malone, I respect him that he has great ability, and is one of the best players the game has seen, but he sure is dirty (and always has been).  I used to sort of be a Gary Payton fan as well, but he sure seems to like to cause trouble as well (and never foul or do anything wrong).  Either way, I expect Game 3 to be a doozy...Lakers are mad now.  If Minny can keep the turnovers down and continue to get good play from Martin and Wally, this could be a different series.  Wish Sammy (and Troy) were healthy though.

Now if Laker-killer Troy Hudson was actually healthy, then you might actually be able to win a couple games, instead of just one.  Unfortunately, it looks like you'll just get one.  I predict it'll be Game 2.  Enjoy.   :-*

Hmm...  Guess I'll go back to my original prediction here.   ;)

Lakers looked unispired

Indeed.   ::)  Guess the decided one win in Minnesota was plenty, and they'd just relax and enjoy it 'til they get back to L.A. where they'd try to get down to business again.  Granted, the Wolves stepped up defense definitely played a part in our futility, but I think that was coincidentally in conjuction with one of our poorest performances of the year, especially in the shooting department.  The whole team (except Kobe in the first half) just looked like $h!t.

Shaq appeared to be having "issues" again as well, as in - "OK Kobe, fine.  You take over and see if you can win without me."  Same issue Kobe likes to show off occasionally.  Sure, the Wolves surrounded Shaq pretty good when he got the ball in the post, but there were many times that he got the ball, with only one defender on him, and he didn't even look for his shot AT ALL.  Shaq didn't even seem slightly interested until the very end of the third quarter.  But when he made that bad pass leading to a Minnesota 3-pointer, right after we cut the lead down to 7, that was essentially the end of it.

Shaq also went on another juvenile tirade to the local press, about how he won't be "devalued" when it comes to his contract renogotiation, and went on and on about how he is the General Manager of the Lakers.  He's the one who makes the phone calls and brings the free agents in.  He's the one who makes everyone's games a lot easier, thus adding years onto their careers, etc., etc...  Great time for another team controversy, and with management this time, among others.  What an idiot.   >:(

....especially with Bryant missing part of game 4 for having raped a girl in Colorado

Speaking of idiots...  I'm not even going to comment on this asinine statement, dumbass.

OIK, who just saw one of the most amazing sequences in NBA history?  2 block shots and Prince blocking Reggie Miller on a wide open breakaway with 14 seconds left, there was no way Prince was going to get there and he made one of the most amazing plays I think I have ever seen.  Watch Sportscenter tonight!!!

26 Blocked Shots by the Pacers and Pistons tonight including that incredible stretch run at the end.  Really good game

Man I hope the Wolves get one Back in LA.  Gives me at least one more weekend of hoops then! (that I actually care about)

Indeed.  Thank you.  This ain't a slam dunk case like the Puckett one was, ya' know...   :-*

Nice to see Detroit even it up tonight too.  That was an incredible block by Prince there.  Definitely kept the Pacers from sneaking back into it right at the end there...

Prince's block was unbelievable, when watching the game I didn't even see him...seemed like he came out of nowhere for that.  Nice to see it evened up, the better competition in both of these series, the better.  Except, Rasheed got his "guaranteed" win, could have done without that  ;)

The more I think about the T-wolves/LAkers series, the more I think it's gonna go exactly like the Sacto series...

Game 1 - LA
Game 2 - T-Wolves
Game 3 - T-Wolves
Game 4 - LA
Game 5 - T-Wolves
Game 6 - LA
Game 7 - T-Wolves

Of course, by stating this aloud, I may have just jinxed our squad... if so, I'm sorry Scott  :-X

Eh, I still think they'll steal one in LA.  The LAkers still seem annoyed by the game 2 loss and I think it'll take a game 3 loss before they get really mad and destroy us in LA in game 4, bringing it back to the State of Hockey all tied up at 2-2.
