He's alive, but it's this guy... Jeff Jacobs?  It's certainly the most impre$$ive vintage collection I've ever seen...

That is nuts.  I can't even imagine the amount of money spent.  I'm a little curious to why he is selling.

I haven't even begun to attempt to finish my last 17 figures, let alone ewoks or droids.  I just wanted a full loose collection with major variants.  Blows my mind looking at the total variants collection he has.

Watching the video now…thanks Rob!

Apparently this same dude also has one of the world’s largest vintage GI Joe collections too!

I’m all about variants so looking forward to seeing something new there…

I'm sure he spent a ton on his collection, but look at the custom display cases in his "basement".  It's gotta be a few thousand square feet with custom glass display cases.  I can't imagine what the infrastructure cost him to house all that sweet loot.

Yeah this is the collection I'd have if I had millions of dollars in disposable income.

Yeah, that is not a collection a regular person could assemble for sure. I can’t believe how many things I saw in there that I never even knew existed…the pop up display for Slave 1, the Display Arena, the Laser Rifle carrying case, the ROTJ 2-packs…sheesh.

I guess my collection isn’t as complete as I thought it was!  :D

Just assembling all the mail away offers had to take some time and money, and he said he was still missing a half dozen or so of those.  I have seen random figures in Kenner baggies up for sale, but I don't think I have ever seen anyone selling a complete mail away set with the box and everything.

You have to wonder what he is going to do with the house now that he is selling.  Complete basement remodel?  Sell it and move?

I wonder if he also has a G.I. Joe video as well.  I would love to see the display with multiple US Flagg boxes if there were variants of that set.

There was a local news piece I watched on YouTube and if I remember right, he’s moving out.

Someone will have to redo that basement though… it’s all custom cases built for AFA pieces.

Or, better yet, he sells the house to the person who buys the collection.

Good lord!  That is just an unbelievable collection.  And I agree - those pop-up displays are pretty incredible to see.  Although I would have thought he would have an open example of the Palitoy Death Star.
