USPS can be a pain.  Only experience was with an international shipment on a MR item.  Acrylic cover got damaged in transit.  USPS refused to do anything because buyer didn't take the item back to his post office to document the damage even though he had sent me the pictures which I then sent to USPS.  We had to go round and round with USPS for at least a month until they finally paid the insurance, which buyer had paid for to insure for purchase price.

I don't bother with ebay for selling any more.  I have found FB marketplace to be much easier.  I have sold everything from a few Hasbro figures up to more expensive MR items.  Haven't had any troubles.

At this point, it feels like you almost need to take a video of you packing the item in a box, sealing it, and putting the label on it for shipping.  At the very least, you have the the receipt that shows shipping zip code and weight of the package so he can't say you shipped an empty box.

Happened again.  Buyer bought a lot of 9 items ($275), was delivered, and then the buyer opened a refund request saying they received an empty box.  Said the box had been tampered with.  I really ******* hate people that do stuff like this.  So glad I'm almost done selling everything I had up.  Not going to list anything again...

The saga continues...  After disputing the refund request and ebay issuing a resolution in my favor, the buyer immediately opened a disputed payment request stating that the items they received were not as described in the listing.  Again, they stated that they received a box that had been tampered with and was empty.  The curveball with this request is that he opened it with his financial institution and they are working with ebay on a 'fraud' investigation on behalf of the buyer.  So now I have to wait up to 8 weeks for this to be resolved and still might be on the hook to issue a refund because the buyer is either lying or he was the victim of theft after the items were delivered.  I don't really understand how ebay can allow this to continue when they already closed the first dispute.  Doesn't seem right that they continue to let this drag out.

I'm still waiting on one of my sales to get to my buyer.  It was an international order through eBay's Global shipping program.  Destination is Quebec, Canada, so not exactly that far away.  And yet it still has not been delivered to my buyer.

Glad to see eBay has somewhat detailed tracking.  It got hung up in Customs for a few days, and then disappeared for 3 weeks.  Oh, and DHL is involved.  SMH...

Is the Canada post office still on strike?  I sold a couple Lego sets to a Canadian before Christmas and had to ship UPS because Canada post was on strike.  Had to ensure that it wasn’t one of those UPS options that involves final delivery by the post office.
