All I'm saying is that Darrell Jackson has a knee injury that he may not even come back from this year, or may come back and have to leave after the first time he lands on it after he gets tackled.  Players rarely successfully come back and produce in the same season after knee surgery like that.

Andre Johnson missed 4 games with a calf injury and now he's back.  It's unlikely that he'll miss any more time.

We'll just wait and see who the better player is these last 4 games of our fantasy season, and the playoffs.  My money is on Andre Johnson.

I hear you, but it was a meniscus tear and probably not a major one, it's not like he blew his whole knee out and ripped an MCL or an ACL.

He could come back and get hurt - but all the reports say that he will be back at some point this season, if he wasn't coming back at all they'd have put him on IR by now.  He'll be re-evaluated next week and will probably play by week 12 at latest.

At least Gonzalez is coming around.  Sort of.

Remind me to send you a card thanking you for taking Gonzalez, so that I got "stuck" taking Antionio Gates soon thereafter. If it wasn't for him, I'd be in trouble in the standings.

I was thinking something along the lines of a bottle, but a card will do.

I'd suggest my drafting strategy should be generating a lot of gifts for me.   ::)

This morning at 11:30 I went shopping and checked Domanick Davis' status for the game, and Yahoo said he would be starting even though he didn't practice on Friday.

I just come home from shopping at 1:20 and it says "Domanick Davis is inactive for week 10 vs. the Colts"

Hello ********!!  If you don't know what the **** you're talking about, don't post that he's gonna play!!  It's bad enough that Tomlinson, Brown and Horn are in bye weeks, I really didn't need that goose egg from one of my 2 RBs.  That is the last ******* time I listen to Yahoo, they lost this game for me before it even started.

Yeah, I checked at about 11:30 and it says that Jonathan Wells would be starting - so I benched Ricky Williams and started Wells.

Ricky has -1 yard rushing so far, Wells has about 20... so nothing spectacular yet.

Yahoo is miserably undependable for that stuff.  I've had more issues in hockey with guys listed as day to day or still on injured reserve, next day you check and they had a two point night ::)

It's bad in hockey, baseball or basketball but at least you have 82 games in which you have a chance to insert a bench player and make up the game.

In football, you're just flat out totally screwed, no chance to make up for it.

Wells just rushed for a 14 yard touchdown with 2 min's to go in the first half.  I was checking that out when it happened to see if they'd break the shutout the Colts had over them (Kats is starting Colts DEF this week vs. me)

Yep, the same thing happened to me twice recently - Randy Moss was declared out for a game two weeks ago and managed to catch a TD pass, and FOX said Fred Taylor was out the week they played the Rams - he finished with about 142 yards and a TD.

Just the 22 or so points that I missed out on because of bad info would have been enough to affect my spot in the standings.

Oh well.

So my 72.05 points is enough to beat 10 of the 11 potential opponents this week...  go figure, I'm up against the guy who scores 81+   >:(
