first response - wow, no frackin way.

I guess if they start doing re-runs of the old show on the Hub it would be a decent indicator that this could really be coming.

This sounds like an epic fail.

Of course, I thought the same thing of GI Joe and actually enjoyed it.  Maybe I'm a naysayer, but I don't see how M.A.S.K. could be a feature of film of any quality.

They already made a Clue movie but a Micronauts movie would kick ass. I can see them try to get Miley Cyrus (after Disney kicks her out) to play Jem.

Paramount own Nickelodeon.  So we'll probably end up seeing Victoria Justice or Miranda Cosgrove as Jem.  Forgive me for knowing those names, but my daughters watch Nick almost non-stop.  Victoria Justice definitely has the singing chops for the role.

I wonder if the Cabbage Patch Kids movie will be as good as the Garbage Pail Kids one was?

I think Hasbro is deluding themselves if they think all these various properties can be adapted to the big screen.  They should work on cartoons for the new Hub network and then, if they come up with a good premise, see about adapting them to the big screen.

Some of them already had cartoons so it's not like that would be a stretch.

Between the 12" Joe and ARAH versions, ARAH makes the better choice for film, but I think Hasbro could leverage the Adventure Team into a successful movie franchise as well.  Adventure films like Indy, the Mummy films, National Treasure; they did decently at the box office and have their fans.  I even liked Sahara.  Why not base a franchise along those lines with the AT?

They're remaking everything else from the 80's, why not MASK?  This could be a pretty cool movie - a nice cross between GIJoe and Transformers.

Same here - well I think I turned out alright.  It was on with GI Joe and Transformers after school.
