Truthfully I just want the Jawa. I am sure people will be selling singles on ebay, like how I got my cantina band member.
-
Already one on ebay

9,450 yen is approx $105.00 US.

Should have guessed they would card another series for the Expo again this year. I still haven't tracked down the Fett set of 6 from last year, so I guess I better finally tick that one off before this one gets released this summer. :P
-
I just want the AT-AT Driver. Anyone have a ballpark amount for what singles from these shows have sold for in the past?

The Parco sets are sold as sets of six and usually run $150-180 after all is said and done. Most of the eBay sellers who break up the sets to sell the figures indivdually go anywhere from $25-50 each depending on the popularity of the character.

Personally, I wish they would stop with the carded re-issues. I like show exclusives, but 6 at a crack of existing product is unimaginative. Compared to the uzay trooper, translucent han carbonite, spirit yoda, shadow repaints, etc these are just lazy.
I've bought the other 3 carded sets at one point or another, and sold them all again. I just can't see spending the extra $100 to get them each oscar cases, find a place to display them, store the big cardboard holder, etc.
The more like Hasbro medicom becomes, the less I like them...
-
Another reason I'm glad I'm not interested in the Carded Kubricks. Good luck guys!
-
I'd spend $25-$30 for a carded AT-AT Driver but I'm not interested in the others, or in paying more than that. ****, I've got some vintage carded that I only paid around $50 for...I'm not going to pay more for a modern item than I would vintage.

I'm also growing tired of Medicom re-releasing these figures on cards, but when they continue to release original trilogy figures like the Jawa and C-3PO on cards that match their Vintage counterparts I can't stop myself from wanting to get them for the nostalgia of it all. Damn it, why did I ever start collecting these things?!?!?!?!

I can't help myself from wanting these either, especially since this has to be one of my favorite series. They really don't produce too many of these exhibition releases, so I don't really see it effecting pricing on the originals. It's actually kinda nice that they give collectors a chance to pick up a figure they may have missed the first time around. I'll definitely be looking to pick these up on the after-market.

One sold on the bay for $165.00 (http://cgi.ebay.com/Medicom-Exhibition-2010-starwars-kubrick-full-set-/200485312781?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eaddb190d)

I feel sick today. I was watching a carded AT-AT Driver on eBay that started at $9.99 with no reserve. It went off yesterday and I forgot to put in a bid before leaving for the PSWCS Summer Social....it sold on 2 bids for $13..50.
I hate stuff...

Did anyone end up getting these figures. I've been looking for this set for a while now and I just don't come across them like I thought I would. I still see auctions for the Series 1 and Series 2 sets, but I rarely if ever see an auction for the Series 3 figures.
-
i decided to focus only one the loose figs. i only got series 1 and all the carded Fetts mostly because I dont really have a place to display'em. I did pic up the chrome dome tho :)
-
I got the set from a friend in Japan for cost... ;D
-
I guess I never posted, but I ended up with the carded AT-AT Driver for about $50 shipped last year. I don't think I've seen any carded figs come up in my eBay searches recently, but since I already picke done up, I haven't paid much attention to them. Looking back through this thread, I still can't believe I missed out on one for $14...

I saw that one go up and was watching it to see what happened. I think I'm going to be contacting Celga today...
-
I see there is an auction on ebay for this set at $249 or best offer-
-
Finally saved up the money to order this set. It was still in-stock on the Project 1/6 site so I contacted Celga to make the purchase. With the current exchange rate of $1 = 78 yen it only ended up costing me $121. Now the wait is on to see if they can purchase it and then what they will charge me for shipping and fees.
