The Legacy version, for me, is an amazing figure. In the Uk, we often get figures a lot later, so by the time you get them, you've read all the hype and seen a boat load of pictures. Sometimes when you've got them in hand they don't live up to your expectations, but I have to admit this one exceeded them.

I'd really like if they made a version of this figure exactly the same, but gave him that scruffy hair look he had for most of the Tatooine stuff. Although the face sculpts on the Legacy sandstorm figures weren't too hot, I though the sculpting of the hair on them was executed really well.

I'm with you on the vest Jesse, somehow I've never swapped it round although I admit it's pretty odd looking. I wouldn't mind though, if they gave him some blue eyes like the vintage figure the next time he comes around. I don't know how accurate it would be, but for the nostalgia factor I'd like it.

If there's one thing that could be improved upon for me, it's the storm trooper's blaster. I don't know if I'm alone in this, but they just look a bit too small.

I would definitely go for the VTSC, but the head never looks quite right to me, it kind of feels like it should be longer and less round.

I also wish the arms could get up in the classic "weapon above the head pose" better. The way the torso is sculpted, the arms come out at too much of an angle for this.

Looking at that movie still, they did a really accurate job of sculpting the soft goods. The sleeves are sewn up exactly the same.

For me it's a toss up between the guy you picked and the soft goods version.

When the sculpt with the LIN droid came out, I went nuts and bought five. I knew there would be variations further down the line, but I just couldn't seem to wait.

The two packs with the droids have been great and if they considered doing more, I would definitely pick them up. Maybe an updated Lars Treadwell or power droid.

I like the idea of despising a scene so much you can't have figures from it out on display! I'd like to know who else is hanging out in the sin bin with those diner guys.

I don't think I've got a scene like that, but I've definitely got some figures I just couldn't buy, no matter how accurate a representation they were, because I just didn't like the design.

I was disappointed to read a while back that Hasbro considered Dexter Jettster to be "done". Although I don't dislike the figure we have now, I think his arms in particular, could benefit from the advances in articulation.

I agree, TAC Vader is probably my favorite. Mainly for the fact that he doesn't have the silver thread and he can hold his sabre with two hands in a duel with old Ben.

I like the head joint on the VOTC though, it's quite good for scowling down at other characters, or up at an escaping Millenium Falcon. I didn't even realize the figure had this feature until I got a duplicate with an imperial shuttle years later, and moved the neck by accident.

I picked up Thi-Sen last night. What an awesome figure! It was all I could do not to buy the other two hanging on the peg behind him, I actually walked round the shop holding them for a while until I regrettably put them back. At £8.99 a pop here, I'm going to have to pick them up one at a time over the coming months.

Still, it looks like I know what I'm buying until the vintage line rocks up.

This Han Solo, the early bird Chewie and the new Falcon are probably my top three items. I remember when I was a kid I had a dog eared copy of Han Solo's Revenge and a lot of my games revolved around smuggling jobs.

I know the likeness isn't totally spot on, but there's something about the way this figure is crafted that just has the attitude of Han Solo.

I'm not so fussed about the vest, but I like the idea of the holster strap, I thought that was one of the few redeeming features about that new Bespin Luke. I wouldn't mind seeing this figure re-released, but with gloves, for a Docking Bay 94 version.

I've come to the sorry conclusion that I may never stop buying R2's. I swore I wouldn't buy the latest release with the restraining bolt and the electrical effect and yet somehow it's rolling around Mos eisley in my room.

Although she's not perfect, I think this is still my favorite Leia that I own.

I missed the VOTC when they first came out and spent years tracking them all down individually, (except C3-P0, who I never found!) which amplifies how much I value them I guess.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Recent Legacy Purchases

Finally got a Dewback.  Despite his prequel era look, I think he's pretty cool. I really like the detail that went into the sculpt and the articulation on his feet.  I'm not sure I'm ever going to get the cool trooper to sit with any measure of realism though...

Wow, I guess a lot of us lost a Chewie! I put mine down a hole in the sand to fight a spider. There was a storm over night and the sand blew over leaving no trace of the hole or the wookiee. I dug everywhere for days but I never found him!

I have to agree with everyone, these Chewies are great.  I love the way the fur is sculpted and hides the articulation so well, especially the torso. I'm with JACK about that Hoth tin figure, I would love a clean version of him too. If I could have any upgrades on Chewie, I wouldn't mind seeing the neck joint on the Cloud City capture make a reappearance, or his bandoleer-pack get that open feature that the Temple of doom Indy had.

Really looking forward to this excellent ongoing feature.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess the eopie is the draw for me here and would be the reason for picking this one up. I already have the evolutions Qui Gon and the poncho on this version doesn't resemble the one he wore in the film too much. Call me crazy, but the closer they match the colors to what we see in the films, the better I like it. On the flip side, from what I've seen, the skin tone looks a little healthier on this guy.
