I want to say Misters Schwartz and Randall are full of ****, but who knows.
Thoughts? Opinions? Hastily typed somethings?

Randall, one of the authors, called his findings "depressing stuff" and warned that it might even be too late to prevent future disasters.
"We don't know exactly where we are in the process. It could start tomorrow and we would not know for another five years," he told the paper.
Ummmm if we don't know exactly where we are in the process how can they make all the claims of stuff happening in 2007 and 2020? What a load of crock! Right now there are tons of doomsday believers reading this article and wanting to stock up on supplies. Well ya know what I say to the apocalypse? Bring it on jerky!!! :)

Bummer. Time to start hoarding bottles of water and non-perishable food stuffs. I'm in luck because its food shopping day and I can start early. Gotta get the jump on the rest of the crazies.

"abrupt climate change could bring the planet to the edge of anarchy as countries develop a nuclear threat to defend and secure dwindling food, water and energy supplies,"
So basically what is being said here is that Global Warming will cause countries to develop nuclear weapons in order to protect their food? Instead of spending billions of dollars on Nuclear weapons why not put money into researching the causes of Global Warming? Or does that make too much sense?

We're talking about world governments here. Fear and paranoia in spades. :(

There's an article on the www.ems.org website. You can even download the report if you want. The report just gives a worst case scenerio.
