Now my Han bust has been returned to Torronce, Ca, delivered. No idea why it was sent back. I still have to get ahold of FedEx, damn line is busy. I also have to get ahold of GG or maybe they will email me why it was sent back. Like the **** I know! >:(

Not a good day for me on this line. :'(

Man, that completely sucks Dale.  Sorry bud.  Maybe you should move to the States, eh?   :P

Good luck getting that thing back.  I'd contact Gentle Giant IMMEDIATELY (not just FedEx) and tell them what happened, and to NOT give your bust away to someone else...

I have no ******* idea what the hell is going on. I have to call FedEx to find out waht happened on there end and why it was shipped back.

I just sent GG's customer service an email about this. I'm not spending any money on phone calls as this is not my doing and I'm not paying for it to be shipped back! >:(

****! One collector here got his in 2 days with no problems. :-\

I have not had anything come from FedEx in over a year, only Purolator.

This ******* sucks! :'(

Grrrrrrrr, I feel for ya Dale.  Just another reason my delivery address for these guys has a zip code.  Sadly enough, I'm probably going to get mine before you get yours :-\

Yen = Japanese.  My very bad.

Thanks though, Gentle Giant, eh?  Possibly/probably ROTS Vader?  I can live with that.

Interesting.  I'll never understand the mentality of the oh, they won't make another Vader, it'll piss off those that already have the first one

While I'd be mightily ticked if I dropped $300+ on the original Vader bust and then a second, similar (if not nicer) bust came out, the comments still make no sense.  I'd be mad at myself.  Oh look, the re-released Amanaman in POTJ - curse you Hasbro, I just paid $45 for a vintage version ::)

Gentle Giant is in business to make money, not be careful about treading on the toes of those that foolishly parted with their money on ebay.  Vader will sell and as pointed out in that thread, is a focal point of Ep III - hell, the whole damn point of the two trilogies.  I expect we'll see one this summer and that's mightily cool.

I'm hoping for a version with a saber as well, similar to the bust up version recently out.  That would be awesome.

Another email from Gentle Giant Customer Service:

Quote
FedEx attempted to contact you but was never able to get a hold of you, therefore the packages were returned to our fulfillment house. We will reship the package.

Right, FedEx attempted to contact me. My ass! ::)

So soon it will be on it's way, I requested a new tracking number to keep tabs on it.

I feel alittle better now, just the wait again. :-\

FedEx told them they tried to contact you but likely neglected to do so. I'm always baffled as to why people/companies can't just be honest. If there's a delay or a screw up, fine, admit it and be done with it.

Neglected to do so is right. FedEx did not have my phone number and no attempt to deliver was made and if so, if no one was at home, they leave a note to make arrangements for delivery or pick up but there was nothing. Sherry and I have been here during the work week so theres no excuse. Just trying to save there asses! >:(

Old Japanese saying: fix the problem, not the blame.

Too true.  I'm so much happier to have someone simply admit to me that they screwed up, rather than fling BS in my direction.  You can always smell it.
