Pens just fired their coach and GM.

I read through the details last week when I got the email and found it confusing.

I think we actually get a handful of free BIN listings per month in select categories that include toys (50?).  Other categories seem to have less restrictive free BIN listings.

There are also a number of free auction style listings provided (150?), but I don't think this was restricted by category.

Although this might all depend on your sales volumes, or ratings or something.

The way I basically read these changes and other changes they've made over the past several years is that they're focusing their offering around "eBay marketplace" vendors, where you need to have a certain sales volume or pay a monthly/yearly fee.  Basically the days of random people like us selling stuff on eBay being a big part of their business have gone.

Yeah, I think you're right about them squeezing out the little guys. I guess I can keep my free BIN listings for toys if I open up an eBay store (cha-ching) - no thanks.

And yeah, I still get plenty of free auction style listings, but that's not going to do much to improve my sales. The kind of stuff I sell is not usually the kind of stuff people would start bidding wars over.

I'm considering just listing the stuff under a different category and see what happens. I rarely search by category anyway, personally.

Anyone else get an email about the new changes going into effect today for sellers?

Upshot for me is no more free BIN listings for toys. That SUCKS, 90% of my sales are through BIN auctions. eBay was pushing these types of auctions for awhile and now they're pushing for auction style listings. I don't see why they can't stop jerking sellers around. Without us, they have no business.

That's a good deal, I hope I can get a Jabba that cheap one day.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases
« on: May 13, 2014, 09:45 PM »
I finally snagged one of the very last remaining gaps in my Clone Wars collection...the Grievous/Cody/Kenobi Special Value 3-pack (English language version). This thing has been a real pain to track down, especially the English language version, but I finally found a UK seller who agreed to ship to the US. I've been looking for this thing for a couple of years now so it's a big relief to finally be able to cross it off my list.

Holy crap, that was a kick-ass finale tonight! They pulled all the potential together that this show offered from the start...a way to introduce 2nd tier comic figures like Deathlok, a means to pull together the various movie continuities, and overall just a great vehicle to expand the Marvel universe in new and interesting ways.

SPOILERS AHEAD!

The May/Ward fight was both epic and brutal. LOVED the way it ended, bolts to the foot...so freaking perfect.

Fury was money as usual...the banter with Coulson in the scene with Garrett near the end was hilarious. Loved how they tied up that whole unresolved stuff between them too. Also freaking awesome swerve with Coulson blasting Garrett to pieces after his seeming resurrection...too funny.

Little concerned we won't get Fitz back next season, I really hope that is not the case, he was a key part of the team dynamic I think. Losing Ward is enough.

Man, the couple of ending scenes were super cool too. Skye's dad?!? Coulson with the weird alien glyphs? (Was that a map or some sort of schematic, like for say an Infinity Gauntlet or something? Hmmm)

A+++, best finale of any show I've seen this year. Can't wait for next season!

Damn you for not taking Johnny Football, Cowboys! That would have been one helluva entertaining train wreck to watch unfold.

Good news, I figured they would be back but you never know with all the production costs they incur, I have to think that is one of their most expensive series.

So...Skye backstory? Chinese monsters? Huh? Is this something from comics lore or just some goofy crap they are making up for the show?

Other Toy Lines / Re: ReAction Lines

Yeah, same here, Greedo and Leia have been chilling there for awhile now. I check from time to time just to make sure I'm not missing the Stormtrooper in case he shows up, but I figure it will be awhile at this rate.

They were next to the Walker Dead Pop Vinyl figures I think, generally in the same area where you would see the GoT figs or their SW 6" stuff. I just saw them sitting on a shelf and they immediately caught my eye. Good stuff.

I was surprised to find a full set of the Alien ReAction figures after work today at Barnes and Noble. I grabbed another Kane and Alien figure to open since I have the full blue carded set MOC. $9.95 each, not bad at all.

I hope these do well and we get to see the upcoming figures here too, seems like a good outlet for them.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I love The Ancient Fear because it evokes images of that rumored plot with all the assassin droids pouring out of the underworld of Coruscant. Cool stuff.

John Boyega showed up in 24 last night...nice.

I managed to keep my streak alive of having watched every single episode of this show live in real time.

I thought it was solid if unspectacular. I figured they would have upped the ante a little more since TV has sort of caught up to them the past few years with shows like Homeland. But it felt more or less like every other season.

It's been so long now I can barely remember the players anymore. Jack and Chloe and the Hellers are old favorites of course, but I dont recall if we are supposed to know her husband or Benjamin Bratt's character.

The stick thin blond just struck me as annoying...I foresee a lot of tiresome noise with her until she eventually pulls her head out of her ass and gets on board Team Jack. At least they've only got 8 more episodes so that should speed things along.

The Dragon Tattoo stuff was laid on a little thick with Chloe but I enjoyed seeing them smack around the Assange-clone a little bit.

Super psyched to see John "Episode 7" Boyega as the Drone Pilot though, your star is rising, baby!

Pretty disappointing. Not a fan of pointy-headed, sad eyes Yoda, and soft goods would have been a huge improvement over that cruddy rubber robe.

Plus, at 3" or whatever this almost makes R2 feel like a good deal.

Grabbed a SOTDS Spacesuit Anakin figure for $5 on clearance at Tuesday Morning, along with the last Brain Invaders 2-pack for about $6.
