I was hoping they would had Qui-Gon to the list of Jedi to be done - there's so many characters they can do, it's nearly impossible to figure out who's next. I'm certainly not disappointed with this choice.
I can't wait for better pics of his facial sculpt though -- so far, it's not quite right.

Tatooine poncho maybe?
I'll be missing out on the exclusive for this one. Going skiing next Friday and I know there's no way to order it from a mountain. :P Will just settle for the regular edition and order it the next day.

I will now attempt to establish another Han Hoth blue/brown jacket debate. Was his poncho actually grey in the movie like that? I just thought it was kind of brown. Not that it truly matters but I was just suprised by that color. Then again I thought Padme's dress on Tatooine in AOTC was white but it's actually light blue. Anyway, I still hate the exclusive ideas. Just put them in with the figure already. Why they all need an exlcusive is beyond me. Sigh.

Funny thing is I had a random dream about the book (which I can no longer remember). I thought it was so strange and funny I decided to use it.

They either need a better ordering system or a better server for these. After clicking links for almost an hour and getting re-directed back to the main Sideshow page, I finally got to the page where I can actually order this stupid thing... only to find out that the exclusive is already sold out >:(

Get on the waiting list ASAP Dave. Chances are good it will be converted. You can also pre-order the regular so you don't miss out on the figure, and if it converts, cancel the regular.
I also managed to snag the exclusive. It took me about 25 minutes, but when I did get through took about 1 minute to check out. It seems I get a few grey hairs on these pre-order days.

Geez, I had this on my list of stuff to do today and got caught up in the Iowa game - totally missed the exclusive!
Oh well, I really don't need the poncho when displaying a Jedi.

I'm surprised that this was the exclusive that sold out the fastest so far, even with 2000 pieces. I'm quite excited to have Qui-Gon, but I thought there might be a lull in interest with him.

I think after EIII and the merch. push that came with it, it's was nice to get an alterative Jedi to another Anakin or Obi-Wan revisit.

That's a good point. I was hoping they wouldn't overlook Qui-Gon when they decided to make Kit Fisto first. I'm glad Sideshow saw the market for him.

Been so busy at work I totally forgot about the pre order. I just ordered the reg version about an hour ago and put myself on the waiting list for the exclusive. If I don't get it I won't be too heart broken. I'm not all that blown away with how he looks in his poncho.

I wish they would fix the system to work better. This time the phone lines even went down for me. I never got through, luckily my girlfreind was trying as well and she got me the exclusive one.

Qui Gon is coming shortly, just got the processing email. I'm not complaining, but my next statement is going to be rough. First Han, then Obi Wan and Mace and now Qui Gon. Four new figures within about a month of each other. Fantastic.

Got my e-mail as well (well my girlfriend did becuase she got through on this one). Its going to be an expensive month.

I received an e-mail a couple of days ago that my exclusive reservation had been changed to an actual order due to some cancellations. Anyone else luck out on this? Needless to say I'm happy. This and Bib (I received an e-mail about this one too) were the only two that I missed out on with exclusives.

Got my shipping notice, he should be here on the 26th. After that, I am just waiting on SS to fill my 3 doll orders for the LOTR series. Ouch...what a month!!

Wow...just wow. This is another top notch
doll action figure from SS. Not only do I have his robe for poses from the beginning of TPM, I have his desert tunic for his duel with Maul!! I have no idea what way I am going to display him yet and can't seem to find anything at all wrong with the clothes, accessories or even his hair! I didn't think I'd like it all plastic, but I do. I really think the faical expression matches Liam quite well and this time, my clothes weren't a wrinkled mess when I took them out of the box. I usually never take pictures of the boxes they come in but there was something about this box that made me do it. Posted(as always) at my webshot's page below (pages 3 & 4).

LOL! Same here! Especially becasue my online order apparently didn't go through properly- had to call customer service and they hooked me up at least. (Points for SSC customer service!)
I actually had to look online to remind myself what the exclusive was... then I looked really carefully in the packaging and then I saw it ;D
I'm not sure I like the way he looks in the poncho though.. maybe I'll just need to iron it to get the folds out of it and it'll look better!

Debate no more my friend! Unless you really care about the tape holding the plastic shells together, there is no reason not to open them up- you can always put them back in good as new! Sideshow did a great job with the packaging to give us an "opener" we can just put back into the packaging! Just be careful not to tear the tabs and you'll be please with the results!
