I'll move this to the sports section later, but figured maybe it would get a little more visibility here.
I know we lost some people last year and it kind of fizzled out, but Brent left commissioner tools with me and I figured I'd see if we could gather up enough interest for an 8 or 10 team league this year.

I haven't figured out how to delete my team so if the commish wants to boot me, that's perfectly acceptable to me. It was a ton of fun playing with you guys (and gals) but I just don't have the interest any longer.

I set a draft date for 9/6 at 8:00 EST / 7:00 CST.
We're now a ten team league - I have at least 5 confirmed who will participate.
I'll put a message into the league page now to see if there's anyone else who definitely isn't interested, we could go as low as 8 teams and try to offer up spots to replacement players if there really isn't interest.

I'm sorry guys, but I can't make the 9/6 draft date. My 16-team neighborhood league draft is 9/6 from 6-10. It sounds like we have 9 (?) so I'm happy to drop and give you an even 8 if that helps. Or if you need me, I can live with an autodraft team. Rob, can you share the link to the league page when you get a chance?

My wife is also asking me to delete her team, which already brings us down to 8 if you stay. Would you mind sticking with us this year even if it’s auto draft?

Justin, my wife is wanting to drop out too (I'm looking for divorce lawyers now), so if you don't mind sticking it out for now unless we get an influx of new people, we're down to 8, which should make for a stacked set of teams...

I'll still play. IS there any chance of moving the draft earlier? I could be there live if we drafted at like 2:00 or 3:00 Central.

I'm hesitant to move it this close to the draft day with 6 other teams who might only be paying partial attention. Also, I won't be around during the day on Monday, so that would just put me in your situation if I made it earlier. If we can get a bunch of replies and other people want it moved up some, I'll go with the group though... how's that sound?

Thanks Rob, but I think its too short of notice on what's likely a busy weekend for some. I'll just take the auto draft team. ;)

I would have to auto draft if the draft time got moved to the afternoon. My job decided last year that we should work on Labor Day. :-X

Hey Guys - Just FYI that I'm going to have my son try to draft for me tomorrow night, so if you see me on line it's actually Sam. He has done a few drafts already this year on his own and I figured that would be better for everyone than auto drafting. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

Wow, nice game Scott. 97.14 to 96.69. If it makes you feel any better I lost in another league 137.26 to 137.34, so I literally lost by less than a yard.

Anybody still monitoring this thread? I was looking over the site today and discovered that Yahoo hates me. I was projected to go 2-12 following my draft. Now that I'm 7-1, the site has revised the projection and believes I will finish 8-6. Not looking forward to losing 6 of my next 7 games... ::)

I'm keeping an eye on it... but we're definitely going to need some new blood or to call it a day next year. We're down to 8 teams and I bet only 5 or 6 are even trying.

I stopped using my Yahoo account years ago and think it might have been running in ghost mode in the JD league for a few seasons. Sorry about that...

My ghost team still seems to be going. I didn't play last year and I haven't even looked at my roster this season. The only way I know my team is still going is the score cards that Yahoo sends out.

Yeah, probably best if someone takes my spot. I've mostly hung up the old fantasy cleats these days. Once regular Thursday games started I always forgot to set my lineups in time or missed too many waiver wire pickups and lost interest.

Rob, thanks for keeping the league alive this season (diminished as it was). Nice to prove the AI wrong after it projected me to go 2-12 this season as well. Hopefully we can get some new blood in the mix next year.
