Title: V-19 Torrent

Okay. In the sprit of making more starfighters in the $20 range, how about the V-19 Torrent. I thought that ship was pretty cool in the Clone Wars shows and is about the right size. Not to mentions hard to make as a custom! ;D I realize repaints might be limited, but there could be battle damage etc. Just an idea in the event it might play a role in any upcoming TV shows and such.

Pretty cool, I'd definately be tempted to pick it up the first time around... I'd pass on the next 20 repaints, though.

It's a very cool looking ship, but I really have to watch my ship in-take, so I would have to hope that it doesn't come out. :-X

The Torrent is one of the funkiest and best EU designs to come down the pike since really the big PC games of old like X-Wing/TIE Fighter or X-Wing: Alliance put out ship upon ship into the EU.
The CW didn't give these fighters their due, and Lucas was a fool for not incorporating the design into E3 in some way, shape, or form.
I've seen customs of it, some quite nice, but it is indeed a very "functional" design where every piece seems to move, so it's difficult tocustom up a scratch ship that really embodies the coolness of the ship in the toon.
Put me down for wishing Hasbro would do the Torrent to-scale in the line with folding wings and the works. I'd be in on repaints too even for various squadrons and battlegroups. I'm a big fan so long as the ship's sculpt itself is not too toyish and comes in at the right size for the figures, not the right size for the box.
I'd pay $30 to $40 for a scale one actually, but it is small so $20 (with some assembly required, as they say), is quite feasible I think.

Would rather see an Ewing or a Tie defender before this...I guess it's 'OK'...would have to make an on-the-spot decision with my dollars I guess.
