A little taste (albeit not a really great one)

A lone, factory-fresh LAAT rumbles through the morning air. The steady rapping of the engines echoes against Coruscant’s mighty facades, creating a strangely calming white noise for the passengers.

The din of the Scourge III's engines slows as the pilot points the belly of the gunship at the approaching platform below. The morning fog is too thick to get a good visual, but the crew know who is waiting for them below.

This chapter will be relatively heavy on the storytelling, so I hope the writing holds up. :)

Thanks for the nice response, Quazar. I think I'll be able to get more shots done in the next few nights. The problem is I keep expanding things, and there is a LOT of chit chat for chapter 3 (introductions, conversations about Suud and Sedo and blah blah blah...). Not a ton of action.

I feel like I'm spending a ton of time and effort building a base of characters without giving much in the way of action to keep things exciting. :-\

Oh well... I hope you guys will hang in there. :)
