We had some snow flurries this morning too.  

Nothing too substantial (99% melted upon impact) but it did do a number on the morning drive, causing slippery roads sloooooow drivers... 

Will the McQuarrie figure be short-packed?

The answer is yes.

The McQuarrie Stormtrooper is only 1x per case in the first wave of 2007 figures.  He won't be a chase figure or anything, but he will be only 1x per case like a few others in the first wave.

Finally picked up my 400% Vaders from the Post Office this AM!

Can't wait to get home tonight and get him all opened up... 

It seems like it's only NEW stores that debuted at that price as I haven't seen the $7.64 price at any of the other local Target stores (just the new ones that opened in October).

I'm hoping it's just a glitch in the computer or something because when the last batch of stores opened (in July), the figures were priced @ $6.49 for the new stores ("New Store Special").  Doesn't make any sense that this time, 3 months later, the figs debued @ $1 more than the old stores?   

Not sure what the word is nationally or whatnot but there is a buyer in Ontario who'd said he WOULD move them to Hamilton, however he's saying he is 100% committed to keeping the Penguins in Pittsburgh so long as a new arena is built, which is all but a given at this point because there are two plans...

How does "Hamilton Wolves" sound?  Or maybe "Hamilton We-Stole-Our-Team-From Pitt" sound?

The more I hear/read about this deal, it sure sounds like the NHL is getting ready to green-light a move to Canuckia...

- The Ottawa Sun seems to think so...
- The Newark Star-Ledger seems to think so too...
- Even the hometown papers are starting to worry...

No offense Jesse, but it would be kinda cool to see a team actually choose to move to Canada instead of fleeing from it... 

I wish I had some witty retort about the Yankees to add, but I don't because it looks like it's all been said already.

Just consider me among those who are happy that they are dead too... makes the Twins loss a little more tolerable to know that the Yankees are out as well.   

It will be interesting to see which heads roll for this latest Yankee implosion. Rumors are already swirling with Pinella possibly replacing Torre...

Looks like he's at the St. Paul main branch today... they should try to deliver him today at some point.  I don't know if they will leave them at the door though, so I may have to pick them up at the post office tomorrow.
