TVC figures went up from $10.99 ('11 TVC) to $11.99 with the new re-launch. Plus, the only figures available at my local Targets are the crappy pegwarmers from last year. This sucks.

There's never any new figures at my store anymore, which severely pisses me off because Hasbro has really been stepping up their game with sculpts. At this point, action figure sculpting is so amazing that each figure looks like a mini-Sideshow Collectables 12" figure.

I'm beginning to officially lose faith.

Dude where do you live?  I don't get that.  Are you in the USA?

Between Target, Walmart, TRU sales galore and BOGO coupons galore, I must have paid an average of $6-7 per figure, and I bought about 35 figures in the last 5 weeks.

I gots a hankerin' for some Naboo pilots.  May try hitting up the WM I got the DTF figures at and snag some extra army builders while I have $ and an ounce of caring about the line.

I don't know how you resisted them in the first place.  They're perfect.

BTW - perfect head swaps with the RFT, Naboo Royal Guard and Scramble on Yavin ground Crew with zero modifications needed.  Others too I'm sure - haven't tried Hoth Rebel or Endor Rebel yet.

Was there any pics shown of the team sets (Inhumans, X-Men)?  I know they were probably shown in the slideshow, but it doesn't seem like any of those have made it online yet.  Looking forward to those, from the sounds of who is included anyways.  The regular line figures all looked pretty amazing though I thought, looking forward to those quite a bit.

I also have not seen pics of Inhumans or X-Men.  Longshot is also in the pack with Rogue.  Medusa, Black Bolt and someone else in the Inhumans.

I really like Tarkin except for the lame soft goods skirt.  Nikto looks fantastic!  The others I just do not want them at all.

Yeah someone at Hasbro really ought've piped up and said that looked awful.  There is so much other goodness coming out this year I can live with it.  I'll just pass on the figure if it looks bad.

I went to Walmart yesterday and they had the 3D movie wave. There were 3D glasses all over the place! Some kids had a field day removing them from the cards and scatering them throughout the asile. There were only a couple of cards that still had the glasses intack. Weird since we were just talking about this happening.

I don't get that.  They are one with the card.   It's not even perforated.  If you want to take them off, you need a scissor or you need to raggedly rip them off with your hands.

Where is Toy Fair even, NYC?

I've never gone to one.  I'm going to a Comic Con in the end of March and then the big one as usual in October.

I'll make sure I fight you to the death in basketball then.  There's no way I'm letting you be a 4 sport champion in the same year.

Man.  From another point of view though, if you average everyone's place in the standings the past 4 seasons, I doubt anyone is higher than my 2.0 average.

Actually if you do all-time place in the standings and toss in my 2 championships, I'm willing to bet I'm #1 in average place in the standings lifetime.

I can only imagine how this is going to work:

Quote
In fall, kids can gear up for battle with STAR WARS AMP’D. For the first time ever, kids will be able to quickly and easily customize the most iconic STAR WARS vehicles and prepare them for any mission: land, space, sea or air! In 2012, the line features 9 figures and 6 vehicles.

Mhm.  I wonder how much of the sculpting/tooling budget is going into making jet skis for our TIE Fighters and submarine fins for our X-Wings.

Is there any confirmation as to the scale of these TMNT figures?

I am all over this at 3 3/4" - 4".  All.  Over.  It.

I'm not down for any at 6".

4 straight seasons in 2nd place.  This has to be the year I finally do it.

Finish last.

Just caught this myself...  Interesting but I'm going to guess that, like most sub-lines, it'll have absolutely no tie-in to the basic figures and thus will be a short-lived idea that either works for a quick buck or fails miserably.

It sounds awful.

It reminds me of the 50 Spider-Man figures I see in every store that has Spider-Man with jetpacks, in scuba gear etc. etc.

It's just really stupid.  How you offer Spider-Man with scuba gear before a Sandman figure is beyond me.

Okay just looked this up.  Michonne Bourriague is the actress who played Aurra Sing and she is 5'9". So I'm guessing Hasbro did underscale the new one somewhat.
