Seems like a prime opportunity for some entity to create a new toy retail chain and scoop up old TRU locations to operate.  The problem with TRU was always the debt.  Without the debt, a new chain could thrive.

Most major releases to Blu-ray now come out on in both standard 1080p Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray...

A standard Blu-ray cannot output 4K, and can't play 4K Blu-rays at all.  But a 4K player will play and upscale 1080p Blu-rays.

For broadcast, 4K is basically useless.  But if you get a 4K Blu-ray player or PS4 Pro you can get a ton of use out of them.  A buddy of mine just installed one, and the 4K Blu-ray of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was just ridiculous.  You can't see pixels standing a foot from the screen.

It's basically a future-proof purchase.  And given that a 65" 4K TV costs half what I paid for a 42" 1080P TV 10 years ago, it's a heck of a good value.

Yeah - I think that showed they were all kinda role-playing.  Just like the people at the Kingdom.

I think, at this point, Rick and Michonne are too stupid to continue surviving.

It's been a long time since WD has done anything that genuinely shocked me.  But that trash shredder scene genuinely shocked me.  Bravo!

The thing that bugs me most:

- Judith was born just before the prison.
- Maggie got knocked up at the prison.
- Judith now looks like a 3-year-old.
- Maggie doesn't yet even have a baby bump.

That was a long, long, LONG goodbye...

The Kingdom story was more interesting, but resulted in the most conventional result you could imagine.

I actually drove to the drive-thru on Wednesday and asked if they were available.  They told me they would go on sale Thursday at that location.  They hadn't posted any kind of signage as of yesterday.  So you might be able to call and check when your location to see when they'll be available.

In my post of Facebook, another guy who lives nearby said he was told "Late February" at a different McD's.  That's just preposterous!

Grabbed my first of the season!  Shake machine wasn't broke or nothing.  Of course I did go at 3PM in the hopes I'd get one before the dinner rush killed it.

Nope - there's a 4-hour loop, and there's a live feed.  Says "live" on it.  The loop has a time bar at the bottom...

Any idea how long the camera batteries are gonna last?  Are they solar?

The live video is awesome...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2p55BmwmJM

A big CONGRATS to Elon Musk & the team of SpaceX! Yes Rob, that was ******* amazing.. just hope the center core landed safely...

It did not.  Only one of three landing rockets fired, so it landed in the ocean (and damaged the landing pad).

Some of us eastern folks had to get up at early the next day for work.

I watched it yesterday.  It was pretty decent.  Some stuff didn't make any sense in the framework they set up.
