Title says it all. For me, I have 1 so far.
-
3 loose, 1 carded.
-
6 with 4 more on order from newforce. My goal is 20.
-
1 so far with 2 pending
-
1 less than 1.
-
Zip, zero, nada. If I even manage to find ONE, I will be a happy boy. 8)
-
Zero and probably will stay there. I know this is a great figure but 12.99 seems too much for the OT equivalent of a SA clone. Like most of the VOTC, I'll get it at clearance at half that, if not I'll be ok.
-
None- I plan to get one or two if possible. Trenchcoat Han and X-Wing Luke come first though...
-
None- I plan to get one or two if possible. Trenchcoat Han and X-Wing Luke come first though...
Why? Han Trenchcoat and Luke X-Wing will be 'egwarming for months. The Biker Scout won't last an hour! I was lucky to be there shortly after they set out a case, before the no-good-McDonalds-breakfast-loving-scalpers set their grubby paws on it! Well, different strokes for different folks I suppose.
-
Hmm, maybe so; I have the quasi-advantage of living in a smaller city where, while I'm not sure, buying habits actually seem to be based more on kids than collectors and less so on scalpers. But if kids grab these up I'm betting they'll go for the Biker Scouts, actually.
On the other hand, I would shoot my foot to miss Han altogether, too.
I've also noticed a distinct tendancy for prequel figures to disappear faster than OT figures in my area.... the Coruscant wave only lasted a few days, but the Hoth and Carkoon wave stuff hung around quite a while- what the store got in, anyway. I never saw a Chewie or Fett in my store- a shame since I'm really wanting a Fett.
So adversely really, it's a disadvantage living in a smaller city- they tend to only get one, maybe two cases a month in of anything. And I could swear they skipped part of the Carkoon line, and all the TSC figures have been a week or two late...
If these don't make it here for like a month maybe I can just buy all three at once :) Or borrow some money from my parents? Hmm...
-
Really guys, if you want this figure at all, grab it when you see it. Don't wait around for it.
I have three so far, all loose from ebay thanks to a heads up Metal Jedi (I'm going to keep thanking him until I start seeing this figure in stores). :-* :-* :-*
:)
-
Isnt it a little early to be posing this question?
On topic, in the end I'd like to have six or more paited by Chewie into Barc troopers.
-
All right, maybe I'll get a VTSC scout first :P But Han is second and I'm going to see if I can't get him at the same time.
After I've got Han and Luke, then I'll see if I can afford a second scout.
If Greedo or the Tusken Raider pegwarm I might buy one of those... but they're not that high on my priority list. Rather spend money online and get a VOTC Chewie and Lando first.

:)
Truer words have never been spoken. This figure might be my favorite SW figure of all time. Simply flawless.
-
I have just 1...and I've had it for so long that I'm already bored with it...PSYCHE.. I have to admit I get him out to play with him at least 3 times a week and everyday on the weekend.
I got 5 more coming from China (and I have the Pink USPS slip on the kitchen counter where they tried to deliver them today)
I'm going to stop at 12. So far I have ordered 6 cases from various sources, so I am going to end up with extras.
-
All right, maybe I'll get a VTSC scout first :P
Yes!
-
So far I have 5 in hand and 3 on the way from China. I'll probably stop at 10-12. That's usually the limit on army builders for me.
-
None currently, and I cannot help harboring envy and contempt for those who already have multiples. Lucky bastards. :'(
-
Zilch.
-
1 loose, 2 carded, and 1 on the way.
-
Um... none yet. But I will have them. Oh, I will have them.
-
Two. One has a busted belt. :'(
-
2
-
one on the way
-
Um... none yet. But I will have them. Oh, I will have them.
At $12.83, they're all yours!
(Well, leave me at least one)...
-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSAA:US:31&Item=6050842914
They're back!! He has some at $9.99 and some at $12.99 I snagged the last of the $9.99 ones.
Oh and the first set of re-enforcements from Shanghai showed up today.......
-
Thanks for the head's up Paul! ;D I ordered 2 :)
-
Just got my two Biker Scouts this evening after finding a case at Target. Damn this figure is smoking, can't wait to put together a Speeder Bike for it. While I'd like to get more, these are just so costly that I'm going to have to pass. Maybe one day, Hasbro will release the VTSC Scouts and VOTC Stormies on the basic figure cards, maybe...
-
I finally grabbed 2, I feel pretty guilty paying $30 for two figures though...
-
Well looks like he got smart and raised the price. Oh well at least I got a couple of under retail. :)

None Yet, But I will get a least two of him ;D

Jeez, do you think the factory is running extras after the lights go down?
-
Hmmm....they might be making extras. That's the same guy I bought my three from earlier. Might order a few more at least I know I'm getting them, and if you order several with shipping discounted, it's very close to retail price.
:)
-
I know, I'm tempted.
I can't believe it's come to this - our acceptance of $13 figures....
-
I know... so damn expensive. Do you have one of these yet Ruiner? I am really surprised that I like this figure so much even at this price... :-X
:)
-
Do you have one of these yet Ruiner?
:)
Nope - I spent too much money this past month on full cases and a large lot of MOTU!
Regardless, if I see a Biker Scout, I'll most likely buy it.
-
I found my first one today. I could have bought two, but at $12 a pop, I think I'll settle. Now if I could just figure out how to open the clamshell...
-
I used the DCPI number at target and got to pull 2 fresh from the case! 2 is all I need, one to keep carded and another to join my biker scout squad.
-
I have one now and would like to get one or two more at least. Beyond that, it's just way too frelling expensive. ::)
-
Just one right now. There WILL be more.
-

:)
So these are genuinely legit figures then? Retail price is fine for me and I'd be opening them anyway and won't be chasing enough for multiple Lucas' anyway.
-
Oh, I'm sure they're the same as the ones on the pegs...but I don't know if I'd consider them legit.
;)
-
Oh, I'm sure they're the same as the ones on the pegs...but I don't know if I'd consider them legit.
;)
My bad, legit isn't necessarily the issue I'm concerned about here. I just don't want to get someone's kitbash/custom (no offense meant to the custom guys). Rather I want the same item I can buy at retail regardless of its point of origin.
-

I've ordered from these types of sellers before. There was a guy a few months ago that would sell "lots" of 5 to 10 Star Wars figures. I bought from him several times and they were always authentic figures. The quality seemed to be fine, but sometimes a few accessories would be missing. It didn't bother me since I was buying them as custom fodder.
Anyway, it seems like this seller is similar to the other sellers from that area that deal in current "factory surplus" figures.
-
Got my 2 from China today. Well worth the wait. So now I have 1 carded 2 loose. I must have more. ;D
-
I got mine from the ebay seller. They are exactly like the ones at Retail, only I didn't have to pay a scalper, deal with Target's Customer dis-Service policy or pay for gas to get them, so in my opinion they are better.
As an opener, I'd rather be able to buy all my figures this way.
All my scouts came in individual sealed bags (not a kenner/bag) with their pistols. So he is now a "Favorite Seller" and I check his auctions twice a day.
TO keep this on topic:
6 Loose
5 carded
-
I really want to find this guy...I heard that they'll be on an endcap at Target on the 28th...maybe I'll head out there then. All I want are 2 Biker Scouts and an Endor Han and I'll be good to go.
-
I just found my first at retail, so I'm at 1 loose right now with 2 more on their way from China. :)
-
Nothing yet :-[
-
1 loose, and oh man is that a great figure.... 5 on a slow boat.
-
Not bothering to get any. Ditto for the rest of the VTSC.
I just can't rationalize paying that much for a single figure, let alone five different figures (or multiples) at that pricepoint.
I'll snag my Sand People and Greedos for $1.19 each (or less) when they inevitably get marked down at Target like I did all of those VOTC Chewies/Yodas/Landos last time around ;)

You've got to get at least one scout, the $9.99 kinda sucks but you do get one of the best figures in the modern line.
-
I try to use the rationale that I keep the packaging and display it... It's some of the only figures i am willing to do that with (Evolutions, etc. get the same treatment). They are really "basic" figures though... I'd give Hasbro the softgoods accessories argument too since they're a costly addition to toys.
Ultimately though, they're what we should get in general... Ankle articulation cut here and there of course, and regular waist joints instead of ball/socket joints and complex construction, but overall they're the quality level we should be getting with $7 basic figures, no doubt. Hopefully some day the Star Wars line can catch up to most of the other toy lines out there in that regard. ;) Came close with the OTC line, and ROTS.
-
No Biker Scouts so far, but since I saw the VOTC Stormtrooper on many, many occasions, I'm not sweatin' it.
-
I'm officially at 8. 9 if you count the one in my carded collection.
-
"How many VTSC Biker Scouts are in your army?"
None. :'(
Maybe this week will be my lucky week?
-
Zip, zero, nada.
Hopefully my order from Rick will go through...cheaper than retail to boot.
-
I have 2 at the moment... probably all I'll need unless I go hog wild and go for making Kashyyyk BARC Troopers
-
I just got 5 to add to my 1.
I have to say, this may very well be Hasbro's best work... VOTC Chewie is tough to beat but the Scout's army builder status, and an overall superior look even to the VOTC Stormie, make it really a tough one to beat at this point. And I'm one who loved VOTC Boba and Stormie too and count them as some of the best in the line... The Scout though is simply incredible.
This whole wave of Vintage are pretty great though. I'd say Han is the most flawed of the lot, and he's still the best Han Solo I have IMO, and a great figure.
The Scout though... He's tough to find any flaw with at this point.
-
The only thing I'd like to see out of the figure is a "clean" version without the boot dirt.
I'm still at my three open/1 carded count but I'm considering more. I think my limit on these will be 10.
-
I rationalize it by not spending more than a certain amount regularly on SW figures. For great figures of characters I'm wanting, I pay extra, for mediocre figures I only buy them cheap, and I save money for other things at the same time.
The best Han Solo figure I've ever owned, at least articulation-wise- Carbonite Han really beats him for good sculpting- is Cantina Han. A super-articulated ROTJ Han Solo with removeable accessories including a good-looking trenchcoat is just too good to pass up, even at $13. My best X-Wing gear Luke is a paint-worn POTF2 Luke, who always looked not only buff but suspiciously like he was wearing snowspeeder gear rather than his X-wing gear and had white gloves and boots. So an ultimate renedition of X-wing Luke is also very compelling.
At the same time, I skip a lot of figures I don't care for until they're cheaper. I kind of wanted a Bib Fortuna and a Major Bren Derlin, but y'know, I just haven't cared enough to buy them even at Wal Mart prices yet. If they stick around long enough that I can spare $6, maybe.
And then I buy old things and often do a little customizing and wind up with a figure I like. The best Chewbacca I own ATM, though I plan to shell out a gazillion $$$ (well, $$ maybe) for a VOTC Chewie eventually, is my repainted Falcon Mechanic Chewie, and I got him for $4 and the paint was probably worth about $.30 total considering how much I actually used. Toss in the crossbow from my POTF2 Chewie and the removeable silver chain I'm planning to make for him, and who needs a TSC Chewie?
It's all a matter of perspective, I guess. I do put a limit on figures I really want; after all, I haven't bought Mara Jade at her current $20 price tag yet.
Personally, I understand Army Building as a general concept, but I'm not really itching to do it myself- I just want enough passable troopers to fill in around my main character figures, and one really nice representation of each kind of trooper. Eventually I hope to have an army kind of like this to fill my display:
10 Various Clone Troopers
1 VOTC Stormtrooper
1 modified Evolutions Stormtrooper
3 Commtech Stormtroopers
2 POTF2 Stormtroopers
1 TSC Tie Fighter Pilot
2 POTF2 Tie Fighter Pilots
1 TSC AT-AT driver
1 POTF2 AT-AT driver (probably repaint the boots)
1 VTSC Scout Trooper
2 POTJ Scout Troopers
1 TSC Sandtrooper
1 Evolutions Sandtrooper
1 POTJ Sandtrooper
1 Real Snowtrooper That Hasbro Hasn't Made Yet
3 Saga/TSC/POTF2 Snowtroopers (whatever I can get)
Out of those 31, I have 10, and none of them the very best versions; I probably won't collect all that for a couple years. But when I get my hands on somethig really awesome, I really enjoy it and play with it a lot, so it's worthwhile to me to try to get it, and since Scout Troopers are something I have none of, something I've wanted for years, and there's an ultimate version in stores/going to be in stores soon at the lowest price I'll probably ever get one for, it's my best chance to grab one I think.
It's all a matter of your perspective and wants, though.

My first wave arrived in the mail today! From China, same seller that lots of you guys are buying from. They got here in about 6 days - very fast from what I hear.

Holy ****... where are those smelly, ****-stain furred Ewoks when you need them!!!
;D

yes, they are shipped out with express mail
thank you

I have bought 18 so far...but will likely only keep a carded plus an opener(actually my son already got the opener in an easter egg ;))(amazingly enough I was able to yoga-style the trooper to fit into one of those small plastic eggs!!)
-
I'm up to 11 now.
-
Would anyone mind pointing me in the direction of this contact in the Orient? I've still zero Scouts to claim as my own. :-\

Here he is. I have bought twice now from him and he is reliable and speedy on his delivery. He also has some other lines (Joe and Transformers). As soon as my PayPal account has some more e-cash in it, I am going to splurge on some more. But I plan to stop at 12.

TWO!!!

No, thank YOU. I'm very very happy with the purchase!

14.
Scored all of them an hour ago, and left just as many behind.
Keep checking your Walmart for the VTSC endcap, it's killer.

Yeah man, I ran across that endcap and couldn't believe what I was seeing. 3 Long boxes (which equates to 2 sets or one case) per shelf and there were 5 shelves!
-
Three now, even though only 2 have been freed from their plastic prisons. ;D

Thanks again for the links guys, I just sprung for five. Never sure when they'll show around here and they'll likely be more than that anyway in Canada. About $17 after the taxes for the VOTC stuff last time :'(

2 so far
-
Keep checking your Walmart for the VTSC endcap, it's killer.
Agreed. :) I'm now up to six and I think that's where I'll stop. 8)
-
I have 1 and it'll stay that way.
-
As of today I have 9 loose, 1 carded. One more loose and I'll be finished with this figure.
-
9 and counting. One of which will never be freed of it's plastic prison.
-
Still a big fat zero.
I think I'm done with NF, he's behind by at least five waves if you compare his site to EE's.
-
1
-
Picked up 2 more Scouts this morning around 6:00 a.m. - pegs were jammed with VTSC.
I'm up to 10 loose and 1 carded.
-
"How many VTSC Biker Scouts are in your army?"
None. :'(
Maybe this week will be my lucky week?
After my finds this week, I'm up to... one.
Yay!
-
Zero is what I have until my case arrives. Then it will be 1.
-
Won't you have two once your case arrives?
-
Still 2. I'm shootin' for 4.
-
Well, I broke down and bought one more. ::) Now I've got seven.
-
To be crude, I think I'm going to be SOL on getting one of these guys. No sign of VTSC in our store yet.
I just want to get my hands on Han at least...
My goal though, is to have one of these, and then two POTJ scout troopers and one of the POTF2 bikes w/removeable figure. That way I have 4 scout troopers and one is also "ultimate."
I prefer to have $36 more to spend on other things instead of having 4 of these guys, anyway :/
-
3 opened 1 MOC prison forever..............
Great figure indeed ,although his wrists pop off a little too easy. They have to increase the boss diameter to have a better fit.
But thats just my opinion. :D
-
I grabbed yet another Biker Scout and Sand Person figure at Walmart this afternoon.
-
I have a mighty TWO of them. Go me.
-
I have6 with a bit more coming to me. I'm not at my goal yet, but I'm getting there. Can't wait. These are simply some of the best work Hasbro's ever done.
-
I acquired 3 more yesterday bringing me to 14.
-
I've got three so far, 2 open and 1 still on the card (but it will be opened soon). I'd like to pick up 1 or 2 more (actually, lots more if I could afford it), but it depends what I find in stores. I should have just picked up more when I found them at WM - but at least I got a few. I've already seen more in person than I ever did with the VOTC Stormtrooper.
-
None. >:(
I found freakin' triplets of VTSC at TRU EXCEPT Biker Scout. I may have to resort to Ebay for him. Or win the Giveaway.
-
I've at last seen the VTSC, out of town at a Target. Oddly there were four Demise of Grievous figures, none of which I picked up, but two VTSC figures.
One was Han Solo! I'm a "happy camper" as they say, because needless to say that Target has only one figure still hanging there. Poor Greedo, I just couldn't afford him.
But I have yet to see one Biker Scout... still on the lookout for them. Sounds like a job for internet buying and $15 or something, though...
-
Well, I did have 2, but I traded it away for a UGH Scorch...so only 1 now. :(
-
I'm up to 17 in hand. Barring problems, I have two more due from Newforce and one more due in trade. That will bring me to my cap.
-
My first wave arrived in the mail today! From China, same seller that lots of you guys are buying from. They got here in about 6 days - very fast from what I hear.

Same seller as Rob used and my first five arrived today. Very happy with them and these guys rock. Seller shipped very, very quickly and items were well packaged too, arriving by registered mail and no customs fees 8)
Now I can settle back and wait for these to arrive in Canada without worrying about finding too many. If Newforce can come through with my case I'll have nothing at all to worry about and can totally relax on this set.
-
Hey Rob, how long did it take for yours to arrive? I ordered some from the same seller almost 4 weeks ago and there has been no sign of them so far.

I didn't order from him because I fell ass backwards into a Walmart endcap full of them, but from what I understand, this guy's scouts usually arrive in about a week? I think.

I've got to learn to read the whole sentences. ::)
Well crap I'm moving in a week and still no sign of them. I really hope they show soon....
-
Yeah, it took under a week for mine to get here. Paul ordered some and his took around 2 weeks.
If you're at four weeks I'd send him an email and check in - I'm sure it's just a mix up of some kind (maybe even with the postal service) because everyone I've heard from who's bought from him has been happy with their purchases.
-
Well, thanks to a well-stocked Target, my current number is up to 2! Go me!
-
Well, thanks to a well-stocked Target, my current number is up to 2! Go me!
Thanks to a well-stocked forum member, I'm up to 4. :D
Damn, I've finally encountered the ones with hands that fall off. Two of my four have 'em. :(
-
When my Giveaway Biker Scout arrives I'll have 2.

But thats just my opinion. :D
He is the best figure of the set by far. I had to buy another to ease my star war figure crack habit. He looks great with the larger standard Stormtrooper rifle from POTF2 line. (Sorry, I forget the official name for it)
Bring on the Tatooine wave! that sandtooper looks nice.........

I'm officially at 18 in hand.

Hope that helps.

The E-11? Because you said larger, so I thought it was one of the two I posted.

I'm officially at 18 in hand.
Whew, you should be made to license that thing.
-
I can't wait to hear about some rich guy who ends up buying 70 of these guys, an army of those will look sweet.
I can afford...well...ONE. specificall, the only ONE i have.
-
I have 1 !! :D
There were 4 sets available when I got mine so I coulda had 3 more but i'm at the point where I need to have a specific use for something to get more than 1 less a good clearance price.

Picked up my first one tonight! :) it was the only one on the pegs.
-
Are you going to/have you opened it? Or are you keeping ti MOC?
Because its an awesome loose figure! ;D
-
I collect loose, so open. ;D
-
I am up to 4. I dread having to paint them all, but thats what you have to do to get a nice BARC trooper.
-
I've hit the magical 12. I am now done...

About an hour each here...

You can find a whole section of acrylic paint in Walmart. The base coat for the BARCs is Folk Art brand 467 "Italian Sage" and the splashes of camo are 927 "Old Ivy". I finished up with a clear coat.
:)
-
I'm still at zero. I found one at Target but can't justify spending $13 for a figure these days...
-
2 loose 1 carded. I had wanted to get more, but at $10-$12 each I may wait for a sale.
-
I'm at 4 so far. I lucked into one of those Wal-Mart endcaps awhile back, and picked up three then (and they were all gone later that day). I have since picked up one additional one at Target, although the $12 pricepoint stung a bit. I initially set out to get 4, or maybe 5, so I'm happy - but there is a part of me that wants to pick one up each time I see one at retail. I think I've actually seen them on four or five different occasions, at WM, Target, and TRU - much better than the one single VOTC Stormtrooper I ever saw.
Also, real nice custom BARC troopers there. If I had that type of skill, I might attempt it myself. I hope that Hasbro utilizes the Scout mold and does that for us themselves. It would be great to get a figure of that trooper.
-
I'm at 18, mostly bought overseas simply out of a desire to keep my sanity.
I've seen two at retail... I've got a couple more coming and hope to pick up some more from out of the country here next month to get me to my minimum. At that point I'll pick up if I can afford them and find them readily.
In my area VTSC hasn't even shown up at WM yet that I'm aware so I'm hoping a big deluge of them comes at some point. I'd love to walk in and see peg upon peg of VTSC... Especially for $9.99. TRU's only gotten a case here and there, nothing major... Target is our only steady keeper of these it seems. WM's so out of the game it's not even funny.
-
I just recevied 20 of these today... all ready to be customized for a fellow collector into Kashyyyk troops... gonna keep me from being able to make any commissions for anyone else for quite a while.
:)
-
I am at 9 and counting. This figure's sculpt is clearly one of the best I have seen. Hats off to hasbro on this one. The downside to this figure is that it is starting to become like a expensive crack habit. :P
-
I have a total of 1 carded and 12 loose. I think that will be my stopping point.
-
I have a grand total of 2 now.
-
I've found a few of these, but I still just have my two. I can't justify $10 or more a piece for these. I wanted a decent number of Stormtroopers, so I bought a bunch of those, but I'm just not that inclined to get a bunch of these Scouts. I have a bunch from the POTJ line and I still think those are pretty good.
If I had mad camo-painting skillZ, I'd get a couple more to paint up in that Kashyyyk paint scheme, but since I don't, meh.
-
Zero here. I refuse to pay that much for any single figure, even one as good as this. I'm hoping I'll be able to do what I did with the VOTC and get everything I want through sales and clearances. Fingers crossed...
-
Well I bought 6 more scouts tonight. :-X
My wal-Mart had probably close to 100 VTSC today, I could have had more Scouts but I've decided I'll stop at 12. I'm at 7 carded and 3 loose right now. The only reason I have so many carded is I have been too lazy to crack open 7 heat sealed cards, I actually have a Luke and 2 tuskens to open too.
Instead of buying 8 tonight to bring me to 12, I went with 6, because the fewwer I buy at a time, the less guilty I feel.
-
Im stuck at 9. Ten is my limit. I only saw these once and I bought the two I saw. The other seven have come from the forums here. Thanks everyone ;D
-
One.
-
Up to 3 loose and 1 carded now.
-
Two.
-
Up to 14 now. And I told myself I'd stop at ten :P.
-
You can always mail me four of them.
-
still no VTSC scout for me,
i still hope we'll get them in France ::)
-
Still just one. I don't plan on buying more unless a miracle happens and these babies get clearanced. ::)
-
Two now. :)
-
I saw another one on the pegs at Wal-Mart this weekend, and I couldn't pass it up. I have a total of 5 now, and that will probably be it - at least at the $10 pricepoint. I just wish I would have been able to find this many VOTC Stormtroopers ;). A heck of a figure though, its tough passing them up whenever I see them, although I will say I've seen these several times this time around - much more often than some of the VOTC figures (Stormtrooper, Fett, and Chewie in particular).
-
I feel really lucky to have found 2 using the Target DCPI when these guys started first showing up, as I have never found a scout on the pegs.
-
I've actually now seen a number of them and passed on as many as 10... One WM in the area got TONS in, another got in even more it seemed... Target has restocked VTSC numbers of times now as well, and at their inflated price they even are starting to sit and pegwarm (little early to say that, but it could be the start of it) at those stores...
KB has also gotten VTSC in and I've seen Scouts at the lesser traveled mall store now.
I have a 19 trooper army, mostly bought online, but I've got 6 more on the way and one sitting here carded I just don't have the strength to get into. Damn cases.
The problem though is, as everyone predicted, Scouts are definitely selling better than anyone in the series... It's a shame really to know that lots of people will have trouble getting Lucas due to the tag missing from Scouts.
-
Woohoo, got another to open...so 2 loose, 1 carded. ::)
-
2 loose is still a "team"... Eh, I know Paul will get what I'm saying anyway... ;D
It was a philosophy I had to adopt for my army building habit with some of the Target exclusives unfortunately.
-
I picked up two more to round out at a dozen. I plan to be done there but if they're still around a few months from now or show up in subsequent case assortments down the road, I might pick up more.
-
My first five arrived today.
Now I can settle back and wait for these to arrive in Canada without worrying about finding too many. If Newforce can come through with my case I'll have nothing at all to worry about and can totally relax on this set.
Newforce did indeed come through for me so I'm up to seven now. I'll definitely pick up another at Canadian retail as the Lucas offer is valid up here as well :o It would be nice if Walmart had them, but TRU will carry them and possibly Zellers. But now it's a totally relaxed scenario. If I see some, great, I'll grab them. If not, I'm in no way hurting by missing out.
-
2 loose is still a "team"... Eh, I know Paul will get what I'm saying anyway... ;D

I prefer a 3-4 man team myself, unless we are talking about snipers in which case two is far better. And since the Scout on Battlefront was a sniper, two isn't bad. :)
-
Pardon my ignorance, but what are "normal" sizes for squads, platoons, etc. within this particular universe?
-
A team is usually somewhere between 2 and 4
A squad is between 8 and 12 (can also be 3 to 4 teams)
A platoon is usually between 3 and 4 squads
A company is 3 to 4 platoons
A battalion is 3 to 4 companies
A regiment is 2 or more battalions
A division is several regiments
A corps is several divisions
:)
-
in ROTJ we see Scouts working in 2-man teams in a number of instances so that's my reasoning for that with the Scout, Brent... They were always in groups of 2 on Endor save for the 4-man group at the bunker.
Ryan gave a good synopsis of "teams" and such though...
In STar Wars though, there's possible room for play there too... The term "Legion" comes up of course as a large grouping of soldiers... There's some info on this stuff, mostly formed in minis/RPG gaming I'd say. Any size grouping could vary by the types of soldiers and things...
In Republic Commando a team is 4 men... Each a specialist in a specific field save for the Commander who is sort of the all around expert. They each can act as effectively independantly though as they can as a team really. That's one example of how SW hashes out soldier groupings though, at least in the EU...
In the films the only positive I can think of is the Scouts off-hand... Stormtroopers aboard the Tantive IV seemed to be fanning out in teams of 3 IIRC, as that's the # that stumbled upon Leia and lost a man to her shot... I know there's clusters of troops marching together throughout ANH but I can't recall sizes offhand. :( My nerdyness only goes so far I guess.
-
Im at ten so thats a wrap for me. I held back last night when I saw a few more. 8)
-
right now I have 1 carded and 3 loose.
The carded one I picked up at target on a recent shopping trip to portland (haven't seen them in canada....yet) and the 3 loose ones came from the ebay seller from shanghai that some of you have used in this thread.
hopefully i'll see some more this weekend when I pop down to seattle again
-
Thanks Ryan and Jesse for the answers. As I look at all the boxes of crap I have, I wonder about downsizing some of the army builders I have (not saying I'll do it, but I do wonder) but a squad seems to be around the right size to justify keeping much of what I have.
I did pick up a couple more Biker Scouts yesterday locally as they finally showed up at TRU. $14.99 CAD up here. I'll keep one carded for sure though as they have mimicked the vintage Canadian card front.
-

Should you decide to (not saying you'll do it, but you do wonder...) you've got a potential buyer right here!
-
Yeah put me in there too Brent, I'm in need of certain things lately that are a pain to find actually.
-
mine grew by 7 in a week :-\ poor bank account i almost feel sorry for it.
-
For what its worth, I have five. I've been on such a spending spree its just killing my wallet. I've passed over these in the stores numerous times in the last few weeks.
-
I've been seeing them too. I saw 3 last night actually... I wouldn't say they're everywhere, but they're not rare that's for certain...
Not to mention that, if you want many, they're still online for basically retail + shipping... The shipping is fair and if you buy in bulk you really come out on top with this thing.
I have 20 out, I have 8 on the way, I may buy 2 more for an even 30 man platoon to scout for my sizeable Stormtrooper army...
Out of the VTSC I see hardly any Scouts and LUkes... I see Sandpeople somewhat, but still not every store has him. I see loads of Han and Greedo. Get ready for clearance time on them, and that's good fodder.
-
My last two arrived today. I'm at 20 where I plan to hold unless they clearance or I can make some trades.
-
My case from Newforce arrived the other day and now my mini-squad of 4 is complete.
-
i have 19 now. ;D
-
i have 19 now. ;D
Dammit, the kids 5 years younger than me, yet he has 17 more Biker Scouts.
:P

For having less Biker Scouts than you? What's weird about that?
-
I impulse-bought #13 yesterday... now I'll probably need to get two more.
-
Still holding steady at 0 :P
-
I have 2 in my Emperor's mini arrival dio, 1 posed in battle on Endor, and 1 on the Speeder bike. I probably won't buy more until (if) they're cheaper, and then probably only 2 more.
-
Since these are starting to be on clearance, I think I'm gonna pick up another Scout!
-
Where have you seen these on clearnance?
-
Target started a massive clearance on SW stuff including the VTSC. People have been getting them from 8 to 11, depending where you live and what they originally sold for (10 to 13)
-
Where have you seen these on clearnance?
Many people at various sites are finding the Target Exclusives and the VTSC on clearance at Target.
-
I broke down and bought two more today - so I'm at 15. I'm
definitely probably done unless I find some at clearance prices.
-
I actually have a reshuffle... I have 21, I have 4 more on the way... My other 4 are now back to the store. I cut back due to simply spending too much last month so I'm playing some catch-up because of vacation and other things this month.
Sometimes you just gotta make sacrifices. If they're on clearance though, I'm with Rob... I'll jump at more for cheaper.
-
None, but I have picked up 5 for customs...I'm seeing this more and more later, which is good, because I'll have a chance to build up my fan-fic army. :)
-
12
-
That's probably the smaller of your OT armies though Paul. Between you and Rob I think you've cleaned out the lonestar state of stuff. :)
Seriously though are you moving forward or holding steady at a small platoon of 'em?
-
Despite a strong desire to add more, I have stopped at 12 and will hold there.
My reasoning is that I have reduced my VOTC Stormy force to 24 and I don't want "sub-groups"of troops to outnumber my regulars.
Using 12 because of historical Squad sizes in certain armies in WWII. And because that is how many you can fit in a Plano Case. Which leads to part 2 of the reasoning...SPACE (not outer but storage). I am running out of room.
Now the Rebels are in Squads of 10 (or will be currently I don't have any Endor Troops or Hoth Troops)
Also if a proper Death Star Commander with Tunic and Jack boot (not officer style boots) came out, I would get 24 of those.
-
My reasoning is that I have reduced my VOTC Stormy force to 24 and I don't want "sub-groups"of troops to outnumber my regulars.
Say it ain't so!
(Have you already gotten rid of them all? I'd have loved to buy 6 from you)
-
Now that this guy is starting to hit clearance, I may pick up a few more should I be lucky enough to find some.
-
I have 4 so far. I want more, but I also want to keep the number of Scouts I have equal to the number of VOTC Stormies I have.
-
I have 4 so far. I want more, but I also want to keep the number of Scouts I have equal to the number of VOTC Stormies I have.
Hey, I have more Scouts than Stormies...
Though my 1 only Stormtrooper is the CT one.
-
Still at 2 VTSC Biker Scouts.
Might pick another one up if it goes on clearance.
-
I guess my answer really doesn't count. I bought a total of 25 and sold 15, kept only 3 for myself and my boy. Took many back to the stores too soon, then they got hard to find again so I bought some more to help folks at our local swap meets.
I hope this figure doesn't become the next VOTC stormie issue where folks are crying about availability years down the road. Hopefully not :-\
-
4 now, but I would sure love to find some on clearance. Most of the Wal Marts I stop at never even had shelf space for the VTSC, or I probably would have at least a couple more.
-
I only picked up 3 VTSC Biker Scouts to go along with my Vintage Biker Scout and Speeder Bike. I'm sure that I'll be picking up more now that they are going on clearance. These have always been my favorite Troopers throughout all the movies.
-
now that they are going on clearance
???
I didn't realize they were, unless you meant at Target? My Targets are pretty cleaned out of VTSC though, down to just Han's and Greedo's, as they have been for a while now. The only place I see him is WM from time to time now. TRU on rare occassion but they're backed up with mostly the usual suspects.
At the very least they're still available for basically cost from overseas, even after shipping. Can't beat that with a stick.

And let me tell you why....I don't have to spend 10 minutes opening each one, fishing out the George Lucas Sticker, and then having the "evidence" all over the den when the wife walks in...
If you get them Black Sheep Biker Scout (http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-Vintage-Saga-Collection-VTSC-Biker-Scout_W0QQitemZ6065531059QQihZ009QQcategoryZ2476QQcmdZViewItem) they come in a non-descript brown box that can be hidden in my briefcase as I smuggle it to the safe room...and they usually show up within 5 days.
-
That reminds me, for some reason, of a funny story about EE Clones and my local group...
We'd gotten into a sneak preview of ROTS like a day or two before the official release... Not real sneaky but sneak preview nonetheless. Anyway at the time the guy who ordered our EE Clone cases had them and wanted to divy them up at the showing... So late at night, in the parking lot, very dimly lit, of a TGI Fridays between the theater and the restaurant, we were all standing around the trunk of a car picking up these "white bricks" and exchanging cash...
Obviously this made everyone laugh nervously.
-
;D
Could you imagine getting busted by a cop walking by?
As a grown man, I'd almost rather get busted with real white bricks than white boxes filled with toy figures!

You should see us dealing out of the back of Darth_Slothus' truck. ;D

I think I have about nine of these babies but I'm not done yet.
Fritzkrieg
-
It's sad but ultimately I wanted those Clones so I'd have sucked up all embarassement. Still though it was as suspicious a moment as I've ever been involved in... About mid-transaction everyone kind of started to pause a little bit and I brought up how it looked like a coke deal going down... We all laughed, but nobody disagreed in the slightest.
-
I am at 20 and counting and am starting to ask myself, "when is it going to be enough?" Must....seek....help....
-
And for the win. . . 52 Scouts!
-
I only have one and he's free from his plastic prsion. Pretty good figure as a matter of fact, I'm very happily surprised with him. ;D
-
There were so many of these back East that I felt compeled to pick up 2 more bringing me up to 22.
-
I picked up a 16th yesterday, because he was on clearance for $2.98
-
12 open and 5 more in the package. Probably trade those to anybody who needs em...too much hassle to take back as I can't find the receipt and they are clearanced now.
-
I picked up a 16th yesterday, because he was on clearance for $2.98
Now that's what I'm talkin about! It's funny how I have 20 of these bad boys and everytime I see another one on the shelve, I am in awe. Maybe it's the figure, maybe it's the nostalgic packaging. Now if only we can get a new speederbike........ ;)

So you're the one I was competing for scouts with. ;)

So you're the one I was competing for scouts with. ;)
When these start to clearance at our Walmart, we will really be competing. ;)
-
That Wal-Mart will never clearance them, not in the next three weeks at least, at which point I'll be back in in Fort Collins and they will be all yours. ;)
-
the only place round by me that stock any decently priced figures is toysrus...(im in the uk at the moment)..and they are going at £9.99 a piece...the equivelent of 18 to 20 bucks...so i have none...but i hope to get some when i hop over the pond in a few months...if not...i'll get some at tru...but i dont relish doing that
-

Ryan, with my luck scoring on clearance items that I actually want, I will most likely score on a bunch of Greedos'. :P
-
I can't wait for WM to start clearancing these out. I'm going to recruit my brother to pick some up for me on the East coast where they're just not moving.
-

You should tell him to check it out. I know the Walmart by me has the VSTC for $8 now. If he does find them don't forget your friends. ;)
-
My local SWM got in like 6 cases of these a couple of days ago. I hid a large chunk of the scouts in hopes WM will lower their 10$ price tag soon.
-
Not sure how, but I found another Biker Scout for 2.98 last night at a Target far away from my house. Must have been something someone hid and I stumbled across it after the stock clerk found it. There were also 3 Tusken Raiders - bringing my total on him up to 7.
17 Total Biker Scouts.

You know, judging by your lack of principles, just stealing them would take less time.

And for the win. . . 52 Scouts!
I see you like to share with everyone else.

And for the win. . . 52 Scouts!

Yup, I got 50 of them online from kbtoys and hasbrotoyshop, one from ebay, and one b&m. And, surprise, one month later they are still available in quantity at either online store. So rest assured, my collecting habits didn't affect anyone.
-
That just seems like a huge waste of money to me. Especially since I got mine for $6 and 3 and change. ;D
-
I got the majority of mine from Black Sheep Toys on Ebay. I paid retail plus a little for shipping, but I saved gas and time.
The rest of mine came in "Cases" that I bought at various online stores. Sure I have a tone of Greedos left, but I'm sure a customizer will want them.

dude considering how much hasbro is ripping us off for these figures i think it's just fine. if you're buying these in any sort of quantity, if you're not scalping them that is, you're an opener/army builder whatever so the extra $5 or so that these "vintage" figures are costing you're just throwing away when you open them. there is really nothing at all special about these figs except for the packaging. all the articulation and paint apps were standard for pretty much the whole of ROTS.
-
Got another one in trade. Up to 23.

You have the right to judge? You don't even know me or what I do with these figs...I don't even keep them for myself. A cheaper figure is a cheaper figure. ALOT of folks could vouch for me here on THIS issue that I help out. Lack of principles?..what do you know about that? Coming in here, flaming somebody you know nothing about making crude suggestions. I'll let it slide since you apparently didn't think before you typed ::).
The DS
-
What else do I need to know about you? You're hiding figures hoping that they'll go to discount. That's a selfish weasel thing to do. You cheat others wanting to buy the figs and you cheat the store of it's rightful/expected profit. In the long term, they may not order as much since they had to clearance out stuff, all so that you get cheaper figures.
I don't care how many people think you're cool or what else you've done. What you are doing by hiding these is unethical and borderline illegal.
-
Now, I'm gonna take a chance and vouch for DS. ;)
There is absolutely nothing illegal with "stashing". If you find it to be "unethical", then so be it. I'll bet that over half of all collectors have hidden away a figure and bought it later. If someone stashed away a figure in my local WM, and I never found it (and I actually HAVE found some stashes in the past), I wouldn't be too worried, I'll just recognize that person as a collector with strategy.
So like I said, if you find it wrong, then don't stash. But don't come on these boards just to point out how DS has no principles.
-
That's a selfish weasel thing to do. You cheat others wanting to buy the figs. In the long term, they may not order as much since they had to clearance out stuff, all so that you get cheaper figures.
Laughs* I'll bet there aren't many folks in here who actually think I'm 'cool'
How little you understand. I'M not the benifactor from spending less of MY money on these figures/toys. Others cheated or PLEASED that they were able to get it and for less?Or at all-- to the defeat of scalpers? We're all wrong and you're righteous?!? For the win? 52? Is it all about winning? You brag about what you've accomplished(morals/hoarding?)
then, motivated by?..Jealosy? Have the right to get pissed that someone has the CHANCE to get this for less than you because of *laughs* morals? You say 'surprise my collecting habits here didn't affect anyone' really....? Say someone wants 1 scout....well that's 51 less chances for him to find it now..it doesn't matter WHERE you buy! I'm a weasel??! OK whatever..but get it right already I'm a fat one that helps folks out. Oh yeah..I'm not an army builder either I just felt this was an appropriate place to post this comment. I'm done entertaining your shallow, pecking on the surface, trollfull, baiting posts here since you 'don't care to know' who it is your talking about yet are willing to start crap anyway=troublemaker? You wanna start a 'trollers-welcome-collecting-morals-thread' than be my guest
I make a simple statement about something and you chime in with a troll
-
Yeah I'm sure you're doing this because:
- Your ailing mother needs biker scouts to survive like Mr. Freeze needs diamonds
- Terrorists are forcing you to buy them at a discount or your kitty dies
- You've found the cure for cancer, but need biker scouts to complete your research and you're on a budget
Fact of the matter is you are stealing. You know you can't defend this slimey behavior, so you attack me in other ways. Yeah, I'm totally jealous of you. I made $20K last month and treated myself to a bunch of toys, and yet I'm jealous of a guy that needs to hide figures until they become more affordable to him. I haven't deprived anyone since my scouts almost all come from HTS or KB.com and they are still available there a month later. You have deprived your local collectors / kids.
Aren't you even a little ashamed? I mean hiding figures is something little kids with no money would do. Just be a man and buy them if you want them. Otherwise put them out for others to buy them.
-
I do not know how relevant this is but:
I do not hide toys
I did not make 20K last month
I did treat myself to a bunch of toys though
I buy stuff online
at regular price
and on clearance
I am at work right now wearing my Sith Happens Vader boxers
I just got a ewok village in the mail from ebay and I feel pretty damn good about it.
I was going to have Wendys for lunch but this whole made me rethink the idea and now I am ordering myself some gyros. I do not know why. ???
-
OK, time for someone to step in and say "knock it off".
This thread is for people to talk about how many VTSC Biker Scouts they've found. If you want to debate the ethics of stashing figures for clearance, take it someplace else...

gyros
Ooooo. This pleases me.
Anyway...I've been able to get 2 online in this forum and bought one (albeit overpriced) to keep carded. :)
-
I kind of stopped at 25... I've not seen this figure exactly pegwarm in my area but I do see him from time to time, sometimes 2 or 3 even, and usually just chilling at either Wal-Marts who got overstocked with VTSC or KB Toys who are charging more per figure...
25 is fine by me. I got some from a NFC case, some from friends, and some from Paul's source online... It was nice paying retail and not really having to hunt for these at stores. I'm debating picking up just 6 more for an even 30 plus an extra 1 for customs purposes. I may hold out though for that when the Kashyyyk Repaint comes around for cheaper.
25 look great though and that's a nice sizeable group to head up a Scout Unit attached to an Infantry Unit... Now we just need a good speederbike for all them. :(
-
Yes, the bike should be small
-
+1 here...
I was out and because of some good fortune on finding something superduper cheap, I decided I'd rationalize another VTSC Scout in my purchase too. 26 total and they're glorious.

Hmmm, the speederbike. It's the mention of that which makes me think that the VTSC Scout Trooper isn't TOTALLY perfect. Why? Because a properly proportioned speederbike probably would not work with the VTSC Scout Trooper in it's current state. The legs are too close together for the Biker Scout to sit on the speeder bike.
That's not to say that the VTSC figure isn't a great starting point for a revised Biker Scout with the speeder bike. I think all this figure needs are ball jointed hips and it would work perfectly with a speeder bike. But as things stand now, the Biker Scout looks a little weird on the speeder bikes we have.
-
Bought another today clearanced at WM for $5 to bring my number up to 5. I think I'm done unless I stumble across another for that or cheaper.
-
I've got a whopping 2 Scouts in my army. No wonder the Ewoks defeated the Empire. ;)
-
Bearing in mind Nick that the Speederbike is a BIT oversized actually. The seat is pretty narrow on the "real" one... The legs don't spread over it much and actually it's more like a tight seated position (such as on a streetbike). I'm thinking a new bike could be made to fit the figure well actually... If done with some creativity. The Scouts legs are further apart than some troopers so there's hope there (should they redo the bike).
On the current bike... It's definitely an awkward sight. Especially the way his feet can't reach the pedals.
-
Another come in from a trade. 24.

I'm sure a Dremel and some epoxy or sculpting stuff to smooth it out would fix that.

I'm at 16 right now, 15 loose and 1 carded. I was lucky enough to find 5 at $4 a pop last night. :)
-
Received my 25th one from a trade yesterday.
I had questionable success getting my brother to pick up some scouts on the East coast. I asked him if he could keep an eye out for them and pick them up for me ONLY if they were on clearance. First, he couldn't find them despite my directions, so I asked a really good buddy of mine if he would do the same. My buddy picked up 2 for me. Told my brother they did in fact exist and the next time he went, he found them. Seems both forgot or ignored the important stipulation, ONLY if they were on clearance, because they weren't. :P My brother also picked up 2 for me. But here's where the clearance instructions had an impact; my brother (WITHOUT MY PROMPTING) put 8 more on layaway in hopes that they will go on clearance soon. :-\
-
The only clearances on VTSC I've seen have been small ones at WM ($9.96 hardly counts), and at Target there was of course a larger one however by the time it hit there were only Han/Greedo and VERY few were left anyway...
The VTSC line sold like mad out here really.
Not every WM got them though, it was very hit-or-miss really. Some had them falling off the pegs, others had no pegspace even for them to get them in. Target had lots, but sold through them mostly. TRU & KB had the usual piles, but Scouts never lasted.
-
I'm actually getting quite upset that my WM haven't started clearancing these out. I want to get a couple more tuskens and biker scouts and there a few still hanging around on the pegs.
-
ik brent i've been waiting for ever my WM has like 10 of them and i want to buy at least 5 of them but there still not on clearence!
-
Does WM ever clearance, I only have 1 & I want the 10 WM has!
-
A Wal Mart near me has VOTC on Clearance...for $9 each...ouch dont tempt me like that....the problem is they only have Greedo and Han Carbonite left...but I want some $3 Greedo's for customs...it is worth it for the Articulation alone. Oh and to keep it on topic...I have 12 and will be stopping there.
-
I had one, traded it away, but got another yesterday to keep.
-
I had one, traded it away,
And I thank you very much for that. ;)
-
I keep waiting for WM to clearance these figures around here as well. Ours has gobs of them, though I'm not sure how many Scouts are left. There are a couple of hanging displays (end of aisle type things) full of VTSC, and piles of them on the top of the aisles. I'd definitely pick up more Scouts if they clearance, as well as some more Tuskens (and maybe an extra Greedo).
-
Once these things hit clearance, they were gone. pretty much all VTSC flew off the shelves, even at the measly $10.19 clearance.

I've never once seen any VTSC at any WM's in my area - be it clearance or not. ::)
-
I'm eyeing a pile that are on $9.96 clearance (wow ::) ) at a local WM... Waiting for them to go a little further because there's Tuskens there. Scouts are ALL long gone in my area though. :( They went at full price for the most part. The only ones with them, perhaps, are KB Toys in the malls... They sell them for a couple $$$'s more though too.
-
I added 6 more over the last few weeks from various places - mostly wal-marts. I'm up to 23 now. I'll probably look to pick up two more now that I've made it this far.
-
I just got 2 more VTSC Scouts yesterday from the Hasbrotoyshop sale. That makes 3 loose, 1 carded for me.
-
I actually found 4 a few days ago that I forgot I had. With a flip visor Tin one on order, when it arrives, I will have 34, 2 shy of my goal of a platoon of 36.
-
Four. They are fine, but I think I have as many as I need right now.
Looking forward to next year's repaint, though.
-
Eight plus the Flip Visor that is coming is 9. I am finished after that. Unless the make the Bearded Rebel in disguise which would be a real waste of time.
-

Well, my tin flip visor scout arrived, but I discovered I have 3 less Scouts than I though I had, so I'm at 32.
-
I'm at 42. I thought I had stopped at 22, but when my local Wal-Mart had an end-cap filled with them clearanced at $1.50, I went nuts...
-DD
-
Four. (Same number of VOTC stormtroopers I have. :()

WTF!!
I have dreams like that dude. You're living my fantasy.
-
One of my local stores had 'em knocked down to 1$. Somebody luckier than me got them though(the bikers were gone). Waiting on an additional store to knock them down further too...they're currently at 6$ there.

I would of went crazy. I thought I found a good deal when they were at 3.50.
-
I'm still co-ordinating with my brother to pick up the last four I want. They still have twelve sitting on the shelves at his local WM at full price. :P

Hey Jon, have you been seeing Sandpeople for clearance prices? I'm eyeing a pile but the WM won't dump them so I'm PO'd.
I want more Sandpeople but not at the prices of VTSC... :(
Scouts were long gone at everywhere but KB when clearances rolled around. Most WM's have either blown through what VTSC they had or they're sitting on them full price and the Scouts still sold out in my area.
Sandpeople though are around, and I want more... :)
-
These are still flying of the shelves here at $10. My TRU still has cases trickeling in and the Biker Scout and Luke are the first to go, and go fast.
-
I havent seen any, over here they are going for 20$ retail and 30-40 from scalpers. :(
-
Found 3 more at retail and 5 from trade which brings me to 28. I think I will be stopping there. :)
-
My final 4 have arrived. I'm at 36, one Platoon. I'm done. Really
-
I picked up my first today, along with a PoTJ one too. I love them both and they look great next to eachother, but has anybody found that his arms are a little weak?
-
Yep, that happens in quite a few of them. That is why I only got 3. What good is poseability if it leads to broken limb disease.
-
:-\ Well I still like the figure, despite his arms.
Aside from the arms, the sculpt is perfect.
Very nice hasbro, its about time! ;D
-
im a MOC completist who got my first the other day, but by looking in the card and reading JJ's review i know im gonna need four more to open...and some speeder bikes...
-
I know eh!
The figures are really nice, wish the arms were stronger but you cant complain. Its better than the potj trooper and you can find multiples of this guy too!
Hes such a nice little sculpt. :)
-
rrrggh...im sitting in my room staring at my only one, wondering whether to open mine or not.
POSITIVES:
My sister has one POP left to get Lucas fig. She wants it, i dont, so we made a deal, I get the fig, she gets the POP.
SA Goodness.
NEGATIVES:
It cost me fifteen bucks from the scalper.
Vintage card reproductions arent exactly 'opener-friendly'... ::)
I dont have an intact speeder bike. i lost the handlebar pieces to mine when i was five. :P :(
:-\ please help. suggestions?
-

Is this the same scalper who wouldn't let you get the Mace Windue BPs? If so, I say you should fight him.
:)
I think you should open it. It's a great figure, you'll be helping out your sister, and he still looks great without the speeder.

okay, okay. :) i guess so. my sister gets lucas, i get an SA troop-builder, and i'll consider that idea to fight the scalper. ;) i'll post my thoughts on the opened fig probbly tmorow.
-
;D i opened it. love it. i want six more. you were right, darth nirvana.
it makes me laugh thinking about how, back when i was seven i bought my potj scout trooper. it made me so happy, with its lackluster articulation and frozen left arm, not seeing the Star Wars collecting world as i do now.
that potj scout trooper has been looking up at me from the trashcan for some hours now, thinking, 'What have I done to you? Why? :( :'( '
Anyways, i have gotten my biker scout into a gajillion cool poses. super happy with it, and my sister just mailed away for lucas.
worth every penny. want six more. 8)
-
Saw a Biker Scout at KB today. I left it cause it was 12 bucks. I would of had 12 in my army had I bought it.
-
love my one biker scout so much, I ripped open my ROTJ tin set JUST for the biker scout inside. it kicks @$$ too. ;D 8)
-
I am up to two now - 1x of the original VTSC and 1x from the ROTJ Tin with the flip-up visor. :P
-
I think I'm up to 6 now. 1 from the tin, and 5 more from the VTSC (1 carded, the rest loose).
-
I'm around six or seven. I scored the visor version from someone that didn't want theirs. I bought five from the ebay seller and then one or maybe two at retail. That's plenty for me.
-
two more until i finish what the tin sets call 'a lance'. i'll probably stop there.
