ah thanks

did this happen in the movie?  I don't believe I ever saw the 2nd one.  Still meaning to getting around to it.

Yes.  When Johnny follows the surfer the cosmic radiation temporarily alters his powers.  When he touches the others, he absorbs their powers, hence flaming Johnny with Thing arms.

Also, I'm not 100% positive, but I think that Johnny (and all of the Rise of the SS figures) are 5" figures.  I'm pretty sure I have a Surfer laying around in our daughter's basement toy bins from that line that is 5" scale.  That was during that time where Marvel movie stuff went to 5" (Spidey 3 stuff, aside from the Legends series, was also that way) before the switch to 6" for Iron Man and the 3 3/4" for Iron Man 2, Cap, Thor, Avengers, Amazing Spidey, etc.

I broke down and bought US Agent from my local comic store for $20 today.  I'm slightly bothered at paying that much, but my happiness in finally getting Walker trumps it.   :D

Wow, $8 each?  That's crazy.  Too bad you can't specify the variants, but I took a shot at red Deadpool and Magik as those are the only ones I haven't seen at retail.  I paid $27 for three figures - that's insane!  Thanks for the head's up!

prices are still pretty low on this line for some of the figures at amazon - this figure is under $5.49!  http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Classic-Legends-Figure-Iron/dp/B008G6OOUW/ref=pd_rhf_ee_s_cp_2

these are still pretty cheap imo - http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Classic-Legends-Figure-X-Mutants/dp/B008FTFB0W/ref=pd_rhf_sc_s_cp_5

I would be all over some/most of these at this price if I collected in this scale.

no, I don't know how Jeff does it - mine are just direct linking to the product - I am too lazy.  No kick backs to anyone from my links.  I would suggest going through the front link on the JD main page every time you see a link from me.    :)

I need to try and remember to do it more myself...  I would like to hear how this kick back to JD works so that I know what I am doing to give them a kick back as much as I can - I buy a lot on amazon.

Rocket Raccoon doesn't seem to have an articulated lower body sadly. I see myself getting a few of this figures.
