Bought the Wampa cave and the Imperial hoth set w/ the speeder bike today and the jerk cashier told me he can only give me one silver trooper. I told him he can ring me up for each item and he still said no, I told him to ring my kids up for one of  them still no. I gave him the advertisement and told him to show he why if it doesn't say anything about a limit and he called his manager, after the manager told him to give me two I went off on him for being an ass.

The proofs were on the counter and people were getting handfulls at a time. I just got about 4 sets, sent one to Dale (forgot the Han). On Friday SW day the card was Fett and two guys were singing the card i think the designer and art director not sure. the only SW item that was hard to get was the LEGO. Your welcome to a set if you want. Also got a few of the figure posters and TFU sticker cards and one more card i cant remember. the white Boba was a giveaway at the 501st for kids only. a few years ago i got a few of the gold C-3po's at the Lego booth.

There is a big hole on the bubble. If I'm dumping more than a G on a toy I rather wait and spend more for something I'm not going to regret.

Just extending an invite.

Hey all!

Just getting word out that the yearly Preview Night Dinner is on!

Greek Islands Cafe, located in Seaport Village, hosts all the Star Wars clubs as my guests for the evening.  Once the Con floor closes, we all head over there to hang out and feast!   GIC will give a 20% discount for us that night, Assagio's, the Italian restaurant next door, will also offer the same discount.  They'll also stay open later than usual to serve us that night.

It's open to all the Star Wars clubs, as I'm involved with the majority of them.
Pretty much if you show up with a Star Wars related outfit (or shirt) then they'll assume you're with me and give you the discount.  Or you can give them the secret pass-phrase: "I'm with Brendan".

Each year the event has gotten more popular, and this year we're inviting some special guests to join us.  No promises that they'll come out, but the invite has been given to various LFL affiliated persons...
Last year we had over 120 people at the dinner... and I think most people who come out will agree it's a lovely time of reconnecting with old friends, relaxing after a busy day at the Con, and enjoying authentic Greek cuisine.
