Seriously, I don't think we'll ever see the "armored" characters we want simply because Medicom has already/will be doing them.
I see it like this, since Sideshow has the rights to distribute Medicom product in the States, why would they tool a new Vader, Stormie, Clonetrooper, Fett etc. when they can sell us the existing Medicom versions for $150-$200 with no investment?

Hmmmm what could the new Jedi be? We have Luke ROTJ, Kit Fisto ROTS, Mace, Kenobi ROTS, and Anakin ROTS so far. I am guessing it will be one of the "background" Jedi Knights from the council or even an EU Jedi like Quinlan Vos. I would be happy with any of the following Aayla Secura, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Plo Koon, Saese Tiin, or Eeth Koth.
If it's a main Jedi I hope it's Yoda or ANH Kenobi.

I am thinking Saesee Tiin or Ki-Adi Mundi. They could give a curve ball and do an EU figure before Padme and do Qui-Lon Vos.

About clones & stormies, SS said at CC they're working on a way to make these guys, but try to make them both basically the same sculpt with minor changes. Sounds sort of Hasbroy.

I guess thats cool. I have the Hasbro one and am pretty happy with it. i am sure this one will be better and I am sure i will order it. ;D I am hoping for a really cool exclusive though.

Yeah, but a "bucket head" character would of been much cooler! It would probally be the fastest seller too.

I don't know. I think the same people that want Kit would equally go for Plo, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Saesse Tiin and Aayla Secura. They all seem to be about the same popularity-wise. I know I am anyway. Although I will skip on Plo simply because of financial reasons. But it's a decent pick. Now those that were considering paying out the rear for Hasbro's version may feel better putting their cash to SS's version.

You're exactly right. I'd really love to have a 12" prequel Jedi collection, and Plo Koon is one step closer to doing that. I've always thought Plo Koon and Sasee Tiin were the best looking alien Jedi, so I'm looking forward to this. 8)

Nice, although I was hoping for an OT Jedi (Old Ben or Yoda). I have no clue what the exclusive will be. Plo didn't do a whole hell of a lot in the movies other than sit in a chair with his fingers crossed or get blown up in his outdated Jedi starfighter. It'll probably be along the lines of Leia's, something not seen in the movies.

i agree. I also think Plo's edition size wont be as high as the other jedi's , thus making it hard to get.

I for one am happy that they are putting Plo into the mix. I think he is one of the coolest looking Jedi and if done right will look amazing.

This Plo Koon looks very nice & affordable compared to the Hasbro version. I won't have a chance to get him as I will be at work & chances of me getting to a PC are very slim. :'(

Don't sweat it.
I've missed out on a lot of exclusives which is okay by me because usually I can find the regular versions 10% cheaper from online comic shops.
To me, the exclusive chotskis are not worth the extra time/$$ - but that's just me!

I would have preferred the chair or the build a figure battle droid. :-\ Oh well. I do admit though that they continue to impress me and i love that they are going a little deeper with the exlcusives. Makes it very interesting.

Any idea on the regular? I can't see it being much less for just, in all intents and purposes, an extra lightsaber blade. I think the higher cost might have something with the extensive sculpting on the head. Plo isn't your run of the mill human Jedi.

Guessing $55 - which means most online shops will have him for $50.

Now that the exclusive is sold out, I went and checked the price for the regular. Still $59.99. Like I said, I think the higher cost is due to the sculpt and not the actual exclusive (ala Han's Mynock).

Edit...Oh a conceptual thing. That would have been an interesting thing to see on the big screen. Maybe it will be in the TV series. Cool idea anyway.

I got home pretty late last night, but there it was! Plo koon looks amazing in the package, I can't wait to open it. The double blade wrist saber is sweet, I think I'm gonna pose him weilding both weapons.

Opened up this badboy last night and am pretty impressed. The sculpt and details are WAY better than the Hasblo version (and YES I PAID to get that one too). I'm not sure about the cloak though... I think he looks better with out it and back in the box it goes. And what is WITH that hood? You can't POSSIBLY put it over his head... is it just decorative? Its like the hood was designed with Ki-Adi in mind!

I was thinking along similar lines ... actually the first ones I'd get would have been Asajj Ventress and Snowbunny Padme, but those are both long gone of course.

Last time I checked (about a week ago), Asajj was available as a second chance.
