These are far from the Action Fleet line Chris.
I checked out the Falcon and X-Wing down at the San Diego Comic Convention, and am very impressed. Great detail on these! Picked up some of the Falcon pieces that are removable from the ship, and they're indeed quite weighty (as one might expect since they're die cast metal). The Code 3 rep told me the complete Falcon set (with base) weighed in at a FAT 18 pounds!
As I was ogling at the two ships at their booth, Patty actually commented "You're not getting these, are you?! Aren't they pretty expensive?" Well, I blew off her question with a rather vague answer, and needless to say, at one of her bathroom breaks, I sprinted back over to the Code 3 booth, and officially signed up for one! We've all only pre-ordered so far (a month or two ago), but this time they took my credit card info and everything. But the cool part is that since I officially signed up at the Con, I got this cool little exclusive
crystal cube with Falcon inside collectible from them as well:

At $300, the Falcon is still probably priced too high (ala the $120 FAO Shuttle), but I still really dig this piece, and this line, and will likely collect them all (from the OT). I am admittedly a little bummed that the entire back of the Falcon doesn't open up though to reveal more of the interior area where our heroes spent most of their time. Oh well!
The X-Wing is beautiful as well! I was too stupid to ask if the wings were adjustable to open/closed positions. Hopefully they are. Removable R2, and lots of other little gadgets as well. Their reps said a price point hadn't been determined yet on the X-Wing, but that it would likely be similar to the Falcon, which I think seems a bit off. Should be a little cheaper, me thinks...
But the good news (for me) is that the Code 3 offices are located just 10 minutes from my house, just over in Woodland Hills - so they said I can go pick these sets up in person when they're ready, and save myself more than $25 in shipping fees! That's cool!
Here's some nice Code 3 pix from Mike over at
