No, I don't have any specific information on this, like WHICH figures, but I thought this little tidbit from Hasbro's Q & A today was quite notable, definitely implying that Prequel figures can very well be released on the new Silver and Black OTC cardback design, just without the "OTC" bubble insert...
Question: Are there multiple line looks for 2004? I’m confused between the blue packaging and the stuff I saw coming out in all the Toy Fair coverage.
Answer: It’s simple. The new black and silver packaging is our new line look for all Fall products. Product that is from the original 3 movies also gets an OTC logo. Other product (i.e., the Yoda lightsaber) only gets the black and silver look.
So will we still refer to these as OTC, or what?!? "PTC"? Or just "Prequel Crap"? ???
What do you want to see from the Prequels still?

Good news. As much as they justified all the repacks, I'm sure this also opens up the playfield for PT stuff. That had better mean SA Clonetroopers! :)

I sure hope so. The Q&A didn't sound too promising for new figs beyond September, really. Of course there will be some, but when? December? Janurary? Sounds like they're throwing out repacks galore while they work on EP3.
I guess it's a good thing, since I'll be saving lots of money.

I'd like to see some sort of SA Clone multipack, possibly something along the lines of 4 white clones and one officer (obviously I wish it was 100 clones, but I'm being realistic). Every few months, Hasbro could release a new officer color (yellow, red, blue green), and then maybe they could tweak the SA sculpt a bit and give us SA ARC Troopers.
This could also work quite well for the OTC, as we could get 4 Stormies and a generic officer. Maybe even switch up the troopers a bit, so we could have 4 Naval Troopers (Death Star Troopers) and an officer, or 4 of the new TIE Pilots and a Gunner (POTJ Officer's body with new head). These would sell so much better than the lame Jedi 4-packs that are clogging the pegs.
I wish the Clone Wars line had been more like this, it really should have capitalized on the "War" aspect, in my opinion. It could have been so much more than it was. We should have been getting figures that were realistic versions of the cartoon figures. Mace Windu, Obi-Wan and Yoda are three designs that come immediately to mind. But more importantly, Hasbro should have been releasing army figures. After all, it is a war, not just a squabble between a handful of main characters.
Anyways, getting back on topic, I would love to get some more figures from the Outlander club. It one of the scenes in my display that looks so...sparse...I know there's a lot of human characters in the scene, but that's what makes it not like a rehash of the Cantina or Jabba's Palace. And that's one of the things I like about it. I definitely like how we got pieces of the bar, tables, drinks, and chairs with the figures that hasbro released. I hope that's something that continues.

I truly hope that we see a few prequel surprises before the EPIII release. I really want to see Owen, Beru and Cliegg! Make it a Screen Scene by Shmi's grave! Or, if they are in EPIII (like I think they are near the end), we might just see EPIII versions of them.

It's nice to see that there are still a lot of us out there that still want figures from the prequels.
I think in December-February we might see a few waves of PT figures, along with some preview figures to build anticipation for EP3 toys.

I'd actually like to start seeing some prequal resculpts come out... Namely, main characters with decently articulated, neutral posed versions.
A nice Anakin with a real and cyborg (interchangeable) arm that sports articulation enough to hold a saber with two hands, and no goofy face... That's high on my list.
Obi-Wan from E2's yet to have a really great version out that's just a vanilla Obi with good poseability. The Outlander's only one so far, and he's got a hilt molded to his skirt piece and lacking arm articulation...
Dooku I could handle seeing a new, better articulated version. Even if it's using the Tyrannus figure from '03, just with better arms.
I could see lots of figures redone though from the prequals... Hell, I'd even like new Obi and Qui-Gon from E1 who are decently articulated and actually LOOK like Ewan and Liam. Oh well... :(

I totally agree. We've yet to get even robed versions of Obi and Mace from E2. I figure Dooku will get a new upgrade with E3, but I really want Hasbro to revisit Obi Wan, Qui Gon, Mace, Maul even from E1, and of course clean up on some of the figs still unseen.

I'm starting to wonder if the rumor list figures got pushed out of the year because of the OT DVD. I hate to admit it, but I'm jonesing for a couple. The time is right for Rabe.

Looks like our resident scoop, OCB, has got some potential information on a few long-rumored Prequel figures still coming down the pipeline, possibly in the new "OTC" packaging, those these will be more like PTC, or whatever the hell we're gonna wanna call them...

Not too bad for starters, I guess. At least their all-new figures, unlike the vast majority of the OTC line. Pretty bad when Prequel figures are starting to sound good (to me)... :-\

I didn't think the report said that the following 2 waves after the Coruscant wave would be prequel figs. I hope not. I'd be happy with a mix of characters from all of the movies. The OTC is 38 figures, thank god! Of course, GH's Swami predicts a General Veers will be coming, maybe it will be in one of these waves. These waves could also include such characters as Sim Aloo and a host of rumoured cantina patrons.
