So what's going on with this property? Has anyone read or experienced much yet? I'm not overly excited about it, but also never hear much about it other than facebook trying to desperately push it on me.

I get most of the comics and books that they release, but have totally skipped this.  It doesn't look that interesting and I totally agree that its getting heavy promotion in a way that turns me off.

I read the first novel and it was ok.  I have the next two mainly because I didn't cancel my preorders.  I might get around to reading them at some point.
