Seems like a lot of us are getting to that age where we're bringing little ones into the world, and I've found that there's nothing more enjoyable than holding your own child, so I thought I'd show some pics of my son here.
Kiefer Justin Cook was born May 23rd and 11:16 p.m. weighing in at 7 lbs and is 19 3/4 long. It's hard to believe the little guy is already 6 weeks old.

It's so unbelieve being a dad... it's really a blessing, and is the most humbling yet pride-filling thing that's ever happened in my life.
We've been fortunate because he's healthy, and rarely at all cranky. He's a riot too, always making us laugh and it's impossible for me or my wife to look at him without smiling.
:)

Awesome! Just give it a year and 46 weeks and that crankiness might change though! :D
-
Congratulations Chewie -- he's a real cutie.
-
I just watched some baby videos of me the other night...
He is much cuter than I ever was. :) Congratulations Justin!
-
Congrats, Justin (and Mrs. CHEWIE)! Enjoy your newfound fatherhood and "family" life...
So, what color are you gonna paint that custom?
:P

Congrats Justin (and family), those are some great pictures. God bless you all in the years ahead.
-
Congrats on the boy, Justin! Awesome feeling, I'm sure.
-
Congrats Chewie! He's a Cutie!
-
Thanks guys (and gals)! He's been sitting next to me most of the night as I paint a couple figures. When he's a little older, I'll make a few "child-proof" customs for him. Hopefully Star Wars ones, but whatever he's into will be fun.
Also I've been learning more about how to make playsets out of styrene (http://www.lyzrdstomp.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=216&Itemid=1) too. I'm definitely going to try and make him some cool stuff when he gets to the right age.

Congrats Justin and enjoy every moment.

Congrats to you and your family on your new bundle of joy!
-
Awwwwww.... :D
That's one cute baby! Congratulations on what is definitely your best custom yet and best wishes to your family! :)
-
Congrats, CHEWIE! You got yourself one cute baby boy!
And I know exactly what you are going thru. My daughter was born May 18th of this year, tho she was 8 weeks premature.
Our photonovel days are behind us now! ;D

Congrats!

Congrats, CHEWIE ... though I think that a paint-wash would really bring out the "cuteness" in him.
;)

Thanks guys and gals... hard to believe he's already two months old!

What a cute little outfit for the little wook. Does he have that wookiee rage play feature?
-
He doesn't have any rage... yet. Still a pretty happy little kid. He's made the last 4 months the best of my life. I have a lot less free time now obviously, and am having a difficult time finding the motivation even to work on my customs and photonovels. The only time I even attempt to do so is late at night, around midnight; but that's getting hard to do because this Wookiee needs his sleep so I can keep up with this little guy when he's awake!

"You want to take my temperature where?"

Lol, that second pic is fabulous
-
You can't top that one Chewie! :)
-
Yeah that second pic of him is great - he gets that look on his face all the time, it's downright hilarious. He's a very pleasant little boy... I can't get over how blessed we are to have him.
He's changed my outlook on life so much... the last few years I've tried to be a positive person as much as possible, but after my best friend died in 2001, I have to admit that I've been a bit down on my personal future, and in a way became a recluse - I had gotten to a point where I would rather sit at home and customize and not go out with my friends at all. Losing someone very close to me in the manner that it happened stopped me in my tracks. This whole hobby of Star Wars collecting, customizing and forum chatting has been what I've turned to for the past 6 years.
Even after losing my friend, I've tried to stay being a pretty optimistic person, but I have to admit that I've never felt more positive about things and the meaning of life than I do now. Having Kiefer has turned me into more of the social person again that I used to be - but not to where I'm going out drinking like I used to, but starting to chat with my old high school and college friends more... I've even started going to church again, which has really been great as I feel that my wife and I have never been closer than we are right now. She's been wanting me to go since we got married, and I barely ever did. But now we go as a family of three and I've never been happier.
Having a little one is definitely the best thing that has happened in my life. :)

Congrats man!!!! We have one due 6 May and I can't wait.

Outstanding! Congratulations!

Great stuff there my friend. Glad to see your outlook on life in general is changins so much as well!!
-
Thanks Brent. :)
I can't wait until Halloween to dress the little guy up. It's going to be fun.
-
What is Kiefer going to be?
Around here there is talk about little Randy being either Superman (superbaby) or a Jedi. It all depends on what Fred will be.
-
He's going to be an elephant! Funny costume. My wife loved it so much that I just couldn't say no. I'll post a pic after Halloween. :)
