I can't believe how well the Phx Coyotes are doing this season.  Man Gretzky must have been a crappy coach.  They got rid of him and all of sudden they are 3rd in the Western Conference?  Crazy.

Does that release just say that Clone Wars sold well though and that was it?  I don't know what to think from Hasbro honestly.  They say it's not selling well but I don't really see them rot on the pegs that much.  I have a hard time finding all of the ESB figures hanging on the pegs at each store.  I thought for sure Willrow would be in abundance (no offense to the Willrow supports since I am one) but he's actually been pretty darn scarce around the stores I frequent.  Unless they have tighted the reigns on everything?  OR they mean the stores just buy a couple cases sell through and then move on and not reorder???  I don't know?

Yeah, if it does die it we all have to admit it was a helluva run from 1995-at least 2012.  We are all going to die in 2012 anyway  ::)

The one B-A-D figure I really want is probably going to be the biggest pain in the ass to get.  LOL!  I just hope they will be all available online.  I don't even want about half the figures in this wave.  Grrrrr!!  Wow, I guess they are not kidding about Legacy selling badly.  It's odd to me because they seem to move as much as any other toyline in the toy aisle.  Actually a little bit better.  Then again I live near Phx and there are more people to move figures through.

Ummm...Is this thing going to be in the toon?  Looking good so far though!

I kind of wonder if it will show up in the cartoon as well.    I hope at Toy Fair they have ESB figures displayed with it.  That just does not look right with Commander Cody and Clonetrooper General Kenobi.  I like the Clone Wars but get those away from the AT-AT Hasbro.  LOL!

It MIGHT be.  I would be fine with it.  I would imagine they would put some sort of modern spin to it.  I am thinking something along the lines of that Early Bird Telescoping Luke from a few years back.  However, I could just see them putting out a reproduction of the vintage Fett and then have that be the start of a whole new subline...yep the old Kenner figures.  LOL!  In all honesty I would probably go for vintage style figures that were never made like Tarkin, Rebel Fleet Trooper, etc.  It won't happen but just saying...

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Avatar

Oh come on now.  Quit ripping on Titanic and Dances With Wolves.  Those two movies are pretty damn good you have to admit.  The only problem with them now is that they have been run into the ground by overplay.  The only thing that annoyed me about Titanic was hearing that song by Celine Dion everywhere I went for an entire year.  That and all the media hype they generate afterwards.    I thought the acting in both were pretty decent really.  I mean you got Kate Winslet in there who gets nominated every damn year.  The old lady was pretty damn good to.  Yeah, I even think Leo held his own for a young twenty year old at the time.

No, I know what you guys mean.  Avatar certainly is not the greatest story you will ever see.  Neither was Star Wars basic good vs evil with horrible dialogue.  Yet it's beloved by millons 30 years later.  People love to rip on these basic stories but those are the one that get butts in the seats because most everyone can relate to it in someway.

Don't be bagging on Wolves, Titanic, and Avatar just because they re-tell a story in some unique way. That's the main appeal of Avatar.  He retold an old story in a newer way that quite frankly a lot of people had not seen done before.  If any of you saw it in IMAX 3-D you had to impressed by the shots and lighting.  If not well I don't know what to tell you.  Maybe art house films are all you like now?

Honestly, some us are just showing our age a bit ripping on this one to.  It's like we have all seen too many movies now and they just don't impress like they used to.  It's hard for any filmmaker to wow anyone anymore.  A lot of that has to do with the hammering of the special effects and sound over your head.  But I really did not feel that way with Avatar.  It was special effects laden of course but did not feel like it was driven into me like a spike on purpose.

Anyway, Avatar is a pretty darn good movie overall.  I'd go again definately.  Hell I saw The Phatom Menance enough times in the theatre and that was supposedly the stinker of all time right?

Well I want to actually see the damn thing before deciding anything.  I am glad it's not 3 ft tall because they would charge $150 then we would all bitch about the price.

The only thing that has really gotten me to buy much lately were the red carded two packs for the price of one.  I have entire Jedi and ANH waves and B-A-Ds now.  Originally I left a lot of those figures on the pegs because of the price.

I am kind of confused by the vintage stuff.  Are we geting all vintage style cardbacks on every OT figure.  Or are they making a seperate other line to?  Like Dak...are they making a vintage style card for him to???  I guess so?

I hope it's some of the following:

Senate Duel Sidious
Senate Duel Yoda
Buns Style Hairdo Padme
Upgraded Anakin
Burnt to a Crisp Anakin and Medical Capsule
Spider Grevious would be nice
Office Duel Sidious

I am not really wanting any but I am sure we'll get a few clonetroopers.

I am thinking the following have a good shot.

Kamino Obi Wan Kenobi (Rain slicked hair)
Kamino Jango Fett (with the backpack from that scene)
Anakin Coruscant
Zam Wessel
Yoda Duel
Count Dooku Duel

I am getting tired of Arena Anakin, Kenobi, Padme - Then again they have the most action in the arena.

Cleig would be great but I am not sure they want to make this guy.

Do we know this is the first wave that they are starting with?  I know it's the first pics we have seen of course.  If it is the first wave then yeah I agree it's not the strongest they could come up with.  You just know if they redid Luke Bespin then a Vader of some sort is sure to near.

Yeah, I enjoyed Lost Lightsaber for all of the things you mentioned above.  I really liked the old Jedi quite a bit and hope they make a nice figure out of him eventually.  I am definately looking forward to the Mandalorian Warriors and how they portray them.  I also liked the fact that Cassie was not a Dark Jedi, Dathomir Witch, Bounty Hunter, Sidious's daughter, or Count Dooku's, mistress, etc.  Just a bratty crime kid.  Although I guess they could make her into any of those things.
