Last year we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current 5 Star Wars Films. With the DVD release, an OT heavy year in 2004 and most of the plans done until Episode III, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10[/i] 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes. After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. This time around it's the fan favorite The Empire Strikes Back! SW:ESB, or Episode V. I'm assuming/hoping the Medical Frigate Luke rumor is true because I would like to see that as well (besides, I only have 2 Lukes on my list!!!) The Jeremy Bullock Imp. officer and E-3PO were also hard to leave off, as well as ICMG. Sorry about that, OCB. Hopefully the Dagobah Luke & Yoda will be made as well and I can add that back in as well as a super articulated Snowtrooper (if I don't chose to add Jeremy Bullock Imp. officer and E-3PO into the list).

Bespin Leia - Just a more official (and better) version on standard card, rather than the PLC SG one
Hoth Rebel Soldier - Needs a more accurate Hoth battlefield update.
Dagobah Luke - Toned down from his Aahnold-esque proportions! Throw in a SG jacket as well.
- General Veers - Like everyone else has said: A standard Imperial version w/ snap on armor

Wow, not too bad! Considering ESB has the least amount of "interesting" characters to choose from, this flick's running out of potential plastic choices real quick! So here goes my update:

Looks like most of the lists are looking pretty damned similar this time around, so once this handful of characters make it into plastic, that's gonna pretty much be it for ESB, aside from some much needed definitive, super articulated, highly detailed resculpts... 8)

Of these, the only ones I'm really, really pulling for are a new Hoth Rebel Pilot, General Veers, and an improved Bespin Guard.
I'd like to see the Hoth Rebel Pilot be released as Wedge so he finally has a card, with a ball-socket head and removable helmet. Then I'm asking for an ultimate Bespin Luke, and for them to plan ahead enough to realize you can pop the ballsocket heads on Bespin Luke and Wedge for an instant custom.

1) Super Articulated Hoth Pilot... With generic/Dak and Wedge Antilles head/helmet variants.
2) Super Articulated Hoth Han Solo Resculpt... Cloth hood, removable hat/goggles. No action features or craptacular stances for this one folks!
3) Super Articulated Hoth Footsoldier... This is a must considering all previous attempts. head variants, removable hat, working holster w/sidearm, and rifle. Head variants would be nice (bearded, clean shaven, and a black dude).
4) Super Articulated Imperial "Snow" Stormtrooper... If the Rebs are sporting a SA trooper so should the Empire. Cloth face-mask, cloth skirt, working holster with blaster rifle. Just a nice vanilla Snowtrooper with tons of articulation.
5) Hoth Technician... Good articulation, removable techs cap (with the ear flaps), tools, etc. Articulation like VOTC Leia or something could work.
6) Ultra Gen. Veers... Removable armor, removable helmet, removable goggles, removable officer's kepi hat, removable belt with working holster, side arm, and articulation like VOTC Leia at least. Holo mini-Vader would rock as well.
7) Ice Cream Maker Guy... Good articulation (VOTC Leia or so), Ice Cream Maker accessory, maybe a blaster? A nod to Scott on the card too.
8 ) Super Articulated Han Carbonite... The Ultimate Han Carbo, with "hybernation sickness", and normal heads, a new carbo block that would completely encase the figure, "dissolving binders", and a light-up block would be neat. Sort of ROTJ, sort of ESB, but I'll vote for it now.
9) Imperial Commander... Generic, super or VOTC Leia style articulated figure with removable officer's kepi hat (with head variants). Black uniform variant and grey uniform variant. One head has to be Jeremy Bulloch as the Officer in ESB. :)
10) Major Bren Derlin... Rebel Officer sculpt with good articulation, and of course the John Ratzenberger likeness. A variant with a more generic head would be cool as well.

Some of those figures would be pretty easy to do with existing molds (throw a robe on VOTC Luke, swap heads on VOTC Leia, Lando Head on Han Body, Jumpsuit from AT-ST and new head for ICMG)
Most of the figures though besides Veers and Derlin don't inspire a whole lot of Me Wantee factor that I see, I think a lot of people are satisfied with their Empire Strikes Back Modern Collection

That works perfect for me... how about a running change on Mjr Derlin with new headsculpts including Coach, Norm, & Sam?
Seriously, if they put out your list, I'm not sure I'd need another ESB figure other than a accurately sculpted & painted probot and army builders, such as Jesse Jame's suggestions:
Super Articulated Hoth Footsoldier... This is a must considering all previous attempts. head variants, removable hat, working holster w/sidearm, and rifle. Head variants would be nice (bearded, clean shaven, and a black dude).
Super Articulated Imperial "Snow" Stormtrooper... If the Rebs are sporting a SA trooper so should the Empire. Cloth face-mask, cloth skirt, working holster with blaster rifle. Just a nice vanilla Snowtrooper with tons of articulation.
Hoth Technician... Good articulation, removable techs cap (with the ear flaps), tools, etc. Articulation like VOTC Leia or something could work.
Imperial Commander... Generic, super or VOTC Leia style articulated figure with removable officer's kepi hat (with head variants). Black uniform variant and grey uniform variant. One head has to be Jeremy Bulloch as the Officer in ESB.
