Something I found surprising - at least here locally - I haven't seen any of the actual "movie" figures from the Wolverine line.  I don't know if they aren't shipping initially, or they are just that popular, but at both our WM and TRU the movie Wolverine/Logan, Sabretooth, and Deadpool are nowhere to be found - but I saw all of the comic figures (including Gambit and Deadpool).  Anyways, just sort of surprising to me.

That actually makes sense to me.  This way they get people hyped up for the movie without giving away the secrets of the movie-specific figures until closer to the film.  I haven't seen any of the 4" marvel lines around here yet.

That's a sweet display!  Cool to see the troops all lined up in formation like that.  I really like the look of them on the clean black shelves as well - very imperial looking.  Do you ever have problems with the figures falling over?  I'm surprised you don't have them on some kind of stand...

Below are a few pics of my Death Star WIP that I wanted to share.   The blue light in the background (looks like a lava light) has little streaks of "lightning" that reminded me of the DS core in ROTJ.  You can see it a little better in that last pic.  I've still got some work to do filling in the DS Playsets in the rear and an open space to the left of the shuttle (used to have the POTF Falcon there, but I upgraded to the BMF and had to move it up to the top of the platform).

Let me know what you think!

I sure didn't expect that much porking and full frontal blue dong at 10:45am but I didn't mind it.

But maybe with the dream sequence with Hera, it appeared she was on the tactical table moving Galactica into a BaseStar ramming style.

Found some of the MU figures at my local WM. Surprisingly, they were $8.44, more than SW figures. I wanted the Surfer and Spider-Man, but I just can't pay that much for these.

$7.99 at HTS.com is still a pretty good deal and they still have most of these in stock.  Shipping is only $6-7, so if you're going to buy more than 1-2, why not pay the same or less and have it shipped to your door?

Has anyone actually received theirs other than Adam?  I placed my order pretty early, but it still just shows as processing on the site, despite having been in stock for days now.   :P

I saw on another site that "SW2009" should be good for 10% off SW merchandise.  I've not used it though, so I can't confirm it; hopefully, it will work for you.

Thanks.  I did see that, but was ordering Marvel Universe figs and it wasn't giving me a discount.  I found 5 of the figs I wanted in stock and didn't want to pass it up, but it was going to cost $50 with tax and shipping.   :P

How's this for a discount though...while searching for Hasbro Coupons, I came upon an Ebay offer for a $100 Gift Certificate to Hasbro Toy Shop for $54.99.  I gave it a shot and got the code in about an hour.  Went to Hasbro and it worked fine - even allowed me to use the GC for Tax and Shipping!  I had to find another $55 worth of toys, but just picked up other items I bought from retail and will return those (prices were actually cheaper on comic packs and battle packs at HTS anyway).  On top of that, I used the SW2009 code to knock another $5 off the extra SW items I bought.

So I ended up spending $55 + $3 over my $100 total, but I'm planning to get about $60 back on my SW returns (2 BPs and a comic pack), so I got my 5 Marvel Universe figs for -$2!  Sweet!

I think smile8 is good for 10% off, but that's thirdhand news. It's worth a try.

Thanks.  This does work.  I used it today for a purchase.

No longer working.  Anyone know of any new ones?

That movie looks much better than I thought it was going to.  I love the idea of Reynolds as Deadpool - his character from Blade III seems like a pretty good match for merc with a mouth.  Depending on how it plays out, this could be a springboard for his own flick.  I thought I recalled reading that he was just a regular guy with a healing factor similar to Wolvie.  He was burned and left for dead, but survived thanks to his healing ability, so it would make sense that he doesn't wear a mask until after that.

Hopefully we'll see some new stuff later on but for now I'm pretty pleased with what's coming out.

Sadly, I want the Jedi and Younglings.  Perhaps we can work out a deal Jman, since you need that Vader...  It's a win-win all around.

Perhaps I need to lay the sarcasm on a little thicker.   ;)

I've actually seen the spacetrooper almost every time I've found this wave (about ten times now).  I've even found him sitting with just Luke or Han and no aliens, which I find very odd.  The hardes one to get around my area is the Jawa by far.
