I with you guys on walrus going up. people will eventually figure out he is just as hard to find.

i give up trying to get anything on ebay. these people are nuts!! :o  I really like the guy from japan selling one figure with $20 shipping. the sellers are as bad as the bidders. did you see the cantina band member for BIN $15 and $20 shipping. with 25 available i don't think thats the way to push things out the door. imho.  ;D
Anyone got a ben for sale??

That shipping price for 1 Kuby is insane. There are other sellers that are selling a box of 12 for $20. shipping.

I just checked my status on my MC again and me thinks Brent is right.

2005/11/27; 13:10: Vancouver, B.C. International item has been sent to Canadian Customs for processing.

Not here yet but sometime this week.  :)

There was an entire set of nine for 269.99 that was gobbled up pretty fast.  Considering that a series 5 set includes a pair of highly desirable 1/96's (as well as a 2/48) I think that might of been a deal.  I expect the walrusman and blue snag to settle down near the 110 mark on the open market.  Consider that buying 2 master cases only nets you a 50% chance of completing a set- without having to trade- I'd say this estimate may prove to be too low.  Only time (as well as production numbers) will tell.

I agree Scott, that BIN price for the set looks awfully tempting right now :-\  I'm having regrets on the master case at the moment, though we'll have to wait and see how the selling off of stuff works out.  I may end up better off, but we'll see how it goes.

Here are some cool pics:

I'm a little late to reply to this, but this is another exciting round of Kubricks.  The Blue Snaggy is a real neat chase piece, and hopefully everyone will be able to get a hold of one eventually.  Walrusman and Han are surprising too.

Quote
Bah!  On the contrary, Han is hands down my favorite.  He will go GREAT with Endor Leia and Luke!

I LOVE that Medicom keeps giving me Han!

I'm with Jeff on this, I was really happy to see the Endor Han on the front page of JD the other day.  Always one of my favorite versions of Han, and I'm glad to see it being made.  I never thought I'd go after any "chase" pieces, because I can't afford them, but this is one I'd really like to be able to pick up.  Hopefully prices won't be too bad.  I'm still a sporadic collector with these, but I'm hoping to expand further as I can save up a little more money for them.  Just a real neat line, and reading all of you talking about them makes it all the more tempting.  For next year, I was trying to decide whether to go with the Sideshow 12" line, or try to pick up more Kubricks.  I can't do both, and couldn't do either one in its entirety, but both are tempting.  I'm leaning towards Kubricks with the nice "vintage" feel, and plus, they are much smaller so easier to store/display :).

Anyways, back to this series, I really like it overall.  The Yoda and Ackbar are very nicely done, and the "Jedi" version of Luke has always been cool I think.  Add in the Slave Leia, Imp Gunner, and Snaggletooth and that's a nice series.  Plus the chases round out things nicely.  Keeps getting better.

It look slike my case landed in NY today, here's hoping i get them on Tuesday or Wednesday!

I am still upset i am going to have to track down a second chase. I bought the master case hopeing to save money, i dont think its going to work out that way  :-[

Where are you at?
I`m in PA, and usually only takes a day for mine to get here once it hits JFK.

If you bought a master case just for yourself, you should be able to sell off sets
and a Han chase and make enough to more than pay for a snag/wally.
I`m in the same boat, but me and 2 others split the case, so I will have to track
down 2 chases (most likely wally and snag)

I am in NJ, and yes i bought the case on my own, hoping thats how it works out.

Oh and a side note, my case just showed up. Its 11:06 AM, i will be back later, going to open it right now.
