Hey Paul,
Big thanks for smashing the cloning facilities and making some REAL gunners.
It's just annoying how the big H is making everything and it's grandmother a clone.
All the different heads add a uniqueness that SHOULD have stayed that way in the figure lines (guess the big H finds it easier to put the same head on everything).
Nice to see work with DS gunners as a whole instead of just the parts
.

First off, I must give credit where credit is due. My custom here was COMPLETELY inspired by Johnboy_Walton's pilot over at RS HERE . He was even kind enough to answer some questions when I PM'd him about his custom
Ok I'll call this one my Version 1.0
I based most of it on the new TAC A-Wing pilot HERE
There are still somethings I want to change and add. First, the helmet is from a Wedge figure. I didn't like the way the original helmet I was working on came out, so I'll have to add that later. I sculpted the chest piece but I think I'll have to redo it as it constricts the arms a bit to hold the blaster with both hands. I also want to add the air tube(?) that goes from the chest piece into the flight suit. I took some liberties with the paint job to suit this particular figure, so I wouldn't say it's 100% based on the real A-wing pilot. And of course, once I took the pictures I realized I have a few more paint touch-ups to do.
But for now, this version is pretty much done. LMK what you think. Thanks for looking.

Head/arms/torso/belt: Ambush on Ilum Padme
Helmet: Saga Wedge
Legs/pelvis: Saga Leia as Boushh
Chest piece: sculpted
Chest straps: AT-RT rifle straps AND Ep 1 Anakin backpack
Leg straps: Saga AT-AT Driver

Hey Commander Smelly,
These came out pretty good. You have some nice paint apps here. I especially like the trooper with the orange forearms/hands.
The "rocket" trooper looks good as well. I would suggest painting the other part of the on his face gray as well. You might also clean up his left arm.
Like the gunship, the clones aren't overdone and you kept them very simple. I'm glad you're finally taking on the custom hobby. You're off to a good start.

I too echo the sentiment about your clean paint apps.
Perhaps a bit more color in other areas?

Wow, I really like this.
This is my second fav besides the Tantive hallway.
Can we get some better pics of the officer Vader is speaking to?
Also, what parts did you use for the Generator/Engineering room (namely the one the DS droid is by).
Only critique is the chairs the DS gunners are sitting on are a bit too high.
