So, should the thread be retitled, "Greatest Hits-Collector's Choice (as long as it is concurrent with what Hasbro already has planned, otherwise, See you on Ebay, fanboys!)"?
I knew that Ephant Mon and/or Graxxol would "lose" based on Hasbro not wanting to invest money in their packaging in some way, but I would have placed my bet on Rebelscum "recounting the votes" and making them lose. I never would have suspected Hasbro would reserve the right to do the exact opposite of "Collector's Choice" if it conflicted with their bottom-line.
So, now that we know this, here's the true Greatest Hits lineup for next year:
01. Anakin Skywalker (ROTS #2)
02. Darth Vader (500th Figure)
03. R2-D2 (ROTS Electronic Lights and Sounds)
04. Chewbacca (ROTS)
05. Emperor Palpatine (ROTS #12)
06. Clone Trooper (Utapau Version, if we're lucky)
07. Luke Skywalker (2004 Saga Jedi Knight)
08. Darth Vader (TSC 2006 Hoth; yes, I know...)
09. C-3P0 (ROTS)
10. Pit Droids 2 pack (two repaints of the one that came with Gasgano in 1999)
11. Mace Windu (ROTS, again)
12. Biker Scout (POTJ version)
My collection is decorated with posed 6" pitties from the EP1 line 
...I digress...While I personally think that the Evo Stormie is not a great choice, as long as it's clean, I can do some army building, but the wide stance will make them not match the others. Perhaps they'd make good squad leaders.
Odds are they'll be dirty.
I'm still confused on why they would use a superior stormie mold (which by the looks of it, I'm in love with) for the back of the box but use a totally different mold for the actual toy...
It's little things like this that piss me off to no end. For once I'm excited about a toy and then I learn more about it....and it all goes to crap.

Another Q&A impies that the RFT heads are new sculpts and based off of film characters.
I would love to see the Pit Droids. I think we all would, and it's a shame that they will lose eventually to some clone - at this rate, all 8 of the choices elected will likely be clones (Fett included). I hope Hasbro sees the love and sneaks them in the GH line for us.
i want to see the pit droids, votc boba fett, ephant (to go with the hermi hasbro had BETTER make!), clone captain, plain AOTC clone trooper, and i'm interested to see what kind of bubble a graxol kelvyyyn fig would fit in for the basic line, so him too.
I'll get 2 if I find them on clearance, otherwise none.
Last night I found something I had missed to begin with on the ANH RH Sandtrooper that is really upsetting me. Apparently the plastic is so poor on the head that mine has a crack in it going from below his left ear all the way to the top of his left ear. This is the first time I've EVER seen a head do this on an action figure, SW or otherwise, so I'm extremely disappointed now.
Does anyone who has already tried this (customizers?) know what currently available Jango head could be used to replace this one? I've compared the ST to the TSC Clones already out and the only ones that look like they might work are the AT-TE Gunner/Tactical Ops heads and the DSG head. There are a crapload of DSGs around me, so I might end up going that route for the time being.

Another plastic freedom update from last night:
ROTS 12" Figures- did YOU know that Bariss and Shaak Ti came with clear stands while none of the others did? I certainly was surprised- these are the same stands that came with the Amidala Portrait Edition ones...
