Watto's Junk Yard / Re: College Grads...Do you use your degree?
« on: October 13, 2003, 01:22 AM »
It isn't so much using the degree as it is having it.

Going through school is one of very few things that will separate otherwise equally qualified people.

My degree was interdisciplinary and allowed me to study Film, Photography, Video, Art History, and Art Theory.  I only graduated 5 months ago, but it's worked out so far for me.

Word has it that the insider has started hitting people's mailboxes...anyone get it yet??

are the pictures in there showing the same thing?

The Hasbro Rep who frequents rebelscum says the pictuer posted here and there is not the one that is in the insider... but he didn't say if it was the same toy or not.

Agreed.  The defense played like madmen, the offense got it done against a tough Philly D.

The Bucs now own the Eagles after 2+ years of it being the other way around.

We shut down the Vet and now we opened up the Linc with a BANG.

Go Bucs!

Go Bucs tonight!

If they win I'll be 14-2 for my picks this week!

But that's not why I want them to win, I want them to win because I'm from Tampa and am longtime Bucs fan.

Go Bucs!

So far I'm 8-2 with my picks today only missing the Texans game (hey who woudn't) and the Charger's game (not sure why I picked them...).

Did anyone catch the Rams game???

Looks like Warner and Martz have picked up right where they left off.

Can't wait for MNF - go Bucs!.

Okay, scratch Jennifer aniston off my list and replace her with Jennifer Connley (by far the hottest of the Jennifers).

Also, rounding out the top 5 at number 6 is Famke Janssen (sp?), I forgot all about her.

Ha, I like Drew Berrymore as much as the next guy, but she's my least favorite of the angels.

And I changed my mind about lucy liu being negotiable... she stays in the top 5.

Not sure how many people here know of them, but I want more than anything for Refused to get back together.

But with Dennis in the International Noise Conspiracy and the apparent trouble they got into with Epitaph records, I doubt it will happen any time soon.

I haven't thrown up since I was a little kid...  It's probably been about 12 or 13 years.

Of course, not drinking helps me keep that streak alive.

I know I'm a little late with this thread, but the first 5 that pop into mind...are:

1.  Angelina Jolie

2.  Mandy Moore

3.  Natalie Portman

4.  Lucy Liu

5.  Jennifer Aniston

These last two are negotiable.

I was driving home from Orlando one time, and there was a huge detour on the interstate...

The detour took us right by the Seminole Indian Gambling Casino - so we stopped.

I started with $4.00

I won some slot machine thing and at one point was at $6.00

Needless to say I was rollin'

But, from that point on I was rollin' down hill - I left with nothing.

I learned my lesson, and it only cost me $4.00

Nice to see you around these parts Zod and I hope that you are enjoying Texas.

So far so good.

I caught myself helping to ruin a perfectly good topic about debt by getting wrapped up in arguing with Dressel, and remembered why I registered here in the first place.

So I'll try to make more quality posts here and vent all that nonsense over at the scum...
