wow... that is low.  i had heard that black sabbath had been sore before about opening bands blowing them away, but they should have known that would happen with iron maiden.  i am sure maiden has more serious fans than sabbath or ozzy does anymore.

i went to the ozzyfest a few years ago and sabbath was probably the low point of the show.  ozzy didn't look like he felt good, so it was essentially 4 really old dudes standing around playing sabbath songs kinda poorly.   rob zombie definitely blew them away.

i don't know how the stones get away with their ticket prices.  i saw them on the steel wheels tour and tickets were only like $30 and some of my friends bought their tickets just a few days before the show.

last time they can around they played the freakin' texas motor speeday and tickets were $75.  that is just ridiculous to be 2 miles away and pay $75.

i finished the davinci code a couple weeks ago and am working on angels and demons.   both are really good if you are not easily offended by very statistical and critical religious statements.

about a month ago i caught a virus or something and threw up in the middle of the night.  it was the 1st non-alcohol puking i had done in probably 20 years.  fortunately there was nothing hawaiian about it.

did you guys sell or give away your other copy of gladiator?  the constant upgrading of dvds pisses me off.  they should do the best version they can the 1st time.

not that this is what i did, but some study tips that always seemed smart to me were...

do your homework as soon as possible after class so it is fresh in your mind

the library is more condusive to quality study time than home

group studying always seemed to be more of a gripe about the class time than study time, but sometimes you can score everyones notes and that can be handy

take advantage of free tutor labs if you need them

Sounds like the Mavs used the whole amnesty thing to cut Michael Finley loose, so in a week or so, he's a free agent.

i always really liked finley, so its sad to see him get the boot like that.  i guess it was win/win though since the top teams in the league are after him and cuban saves over $50 million.

now the mavs just have to find a way to cover his 17 points a game.

What's funny about the Amnesty clause is it was dubbed the "Allan Houston rule" but the Knicks get rid of Jerome Williams instead of Houston.  Damn there president is a genius.   :P

i thought that was funny too.  it seems that they saved like $23 million dumping jerome williams.  it turns out that if houston never plays again insurance covers his salary anyhow, so his money was a wash anyhow.  if he does come back he is a pretty good player and he gets along very well with new coach larry brown.
