« on: September 24, 2008, 06:16 PM »If you have a full surround system and your receiver can translate TrueHD, DTS Master HD Codecs and the like... then the PS3 is a must. BEST PLAYER OUT THERE BY FAR !
i have heard this too. the ps3 is a very good blu-ray player and it has good upscaling abilities for your older discs too.

i don't want this to spiral off target with no hotties posted, but is there some kind of advantage to playing beach volleyball in a bikini? i noticed that some of the marathon girls were wearing them too. god bless them for it cuz its the only thing that makes women's sports bearable, but it always cracks me up.

« on: May 16, 2008, 05:29 PM »The exterior posts are going to have a brick veneer around them (nice having a father and brother as former bricklayers) and then the area under the deck will be covered in stone.
i was wondering why you had such fancy footers for the posts underneath. that should look really sharp.
i believe in the next few weeks we are going to be starting some kind of deck project. we don't own our house so we are trying to work out something semi portable. it looks like its going to be 4 foot sections put together in a parquet patten. it should be fun.

« on: May 7, 2008, 10:07 PM »I received this puppy in the mail today, a Canadian Sears Shrink Wrapped ESB Dengar cardback with Dengar figure. Not the best cardback as it has the pop cut out & tearing on the lower left of the card but I'm pretty happy with it.
that is really neat... and maybe a sort of affordable way to own a really unique piece.

if you just wanted a couple though, the klattu skiff and nikto are usually available for pretty cheap. i have always wanted at least one GDE, but those are just way too expensive.

that is a shame. you weren't the 1st focus collector, but your c3po collection seems to have inspired almost everyone to pick a fav figure and try to complete a run. it wouldn't be a big deal except it reveals certain things about the runs like c3po not having an anakin sticker.
hopefully you will be let back in since you were/are a member with something to contribute.

we pretty much just let ours fill up and then start deleting stuff at about 85%. we record lots of stuff we never watch. its nice to just have stuff on there for nights when nothing is on.

i will agree that he tried in Minnesota. but, i hate it when players like payton and malone and barkley start jumping around at the end of their careers to try to get a ring instead of sticking with the teams and fans that cheered for them for all the years whether they won it all or not.
