The Ghost can be seen as one of the easter eggs at the Battle of Exegol in TROS. (Confirmed by the TROS novelization).
Of course, they could always decide to rewrite canon to continue the tradition of HasLab ships with an explosive on-screen demise.
I just couldn't resist the snark.
Honestly, even knowing Disney would never do this, I was hoping that they'd play with the 'World Between Worlds' in "Ahsoka" allowing the heors to help put a stop to the First Order before it really begins, effectively erasing all of the Sequel cannon & allowing them to start over with Filoni/Favreau or someone else at the helm.
But given that there is a Rey movie confirmed to be on its way, we can pretty much rule that out.
I can guarantee that even if they go to the World Between Worlds again, they won't do something that erases Carrie Fisher's final Star Wars movies. Besides, everything we've seen in the Mandalorian and Bad Batch so far has hinted at the rise of the First and Final Orders.

Just because TVC Haslabs are three for three does not make it a good idea for Hasbro to try and do a TVC Haslab every year. I would be hard pressed to support a Haslab while still waiting on another to arrive and that would happen if they try a TVC Haslab every year.
Space them out a bit, try another Black Series next year (mid sized vehicle of some sort). Then after the Ghost has shown up at the homes of everyone who has backed it, think about dropping a TVC Haslab after that...or do something smaller scale using the pre-order route first.

While I agree that TVC is definitely a winner for Haslab. I still feel the Rancor would've made it if Hasbro hadn't botched the campaign so badly. Reva's Lightsaber should never have been a Haslab campaign.
Now that the Ghost is backed....I'm now wondering if the ship does blow up in Ahsoka!

The Rancor could've been successful if they hadn't botched the campaign so badly. Marvel has had two large scale figures in the Sentinel and Galactus and they were smashing successes.
The Reva Saber was never going to make it because Force FX sabers are just s niche market to begin with. That would've been better as a straight pre-order likeJabba's Boba Fett's Throne Room.

Either you had jedi sculpted in battle pose with rock-hard capes and robes so you could fit about 3 on a shelf, or you had an open-mouthed Mace Windu with a lollipop sticking out of his back. How far we've come.
I actually stopped collecting because of the early Saga line.

Hasbro is not going to leave money on the table. Virtually everyone who buys the Ghost are going to buy these figures separately in order to leave the ones with the Ghost on their special cards. All these figures with the exception of Kanan are going to show up in live-action media if they have not already.
Now, they may not come with a Kalikori or albino lothcat but you're going to see these figures again.
Looking at the numbers, we're up to 7,357 backers. Should be fully backed by tomorrow at this rate.

« on: July 23, 2023, 12:08 PM »Unless Fioloni decides to blow up the Ghost in Ahsoka (each of the other HasLab vehicles blew up on screen...), I'm sure there will be people who skip it now but change their mind and want the Ghost when the Thrawn movie comes out in a few years.
You can see the Ghost in the final battle of Rise of Skywalker, so I think we're ok. Of course the ship not blowing up could mean there won't be enough backers. What are we at now???
