:)

Got another one yesterday, my first Droid / Ewoks figures outside of an Artoo I've had since I was young.

Got it, thanks!

Another new pick up... got it a few weeks ago but finally managed to get it all cleaned up.

That looks fantastic!  Mine has all kinds of yellowing going on.  I’d be interested to hear how you cleaned yours up.

I’m also still trying to track down the cannons for the gunner station.

This one's problem wasn't extreme yellowing - you'd have to do peroxide in the sun or retrobrite for that... This one was just grimey.  It was covered in dirt and scuffs.  I used diluted rubbing alcohol and q-tips to basically scrub it all off.  It took 2 or 3 hours total.  You have to avoid stickers or painted parts though doing that, you can take them right off.

Here's a before image.

Nice, Rob. I love those goofy guys. I am happy to have completed a MOC collection of those before prices went crazy. I’d still like to get some of the custom unreleased ones though. And I wish they’d release a proper Blu Ray of all those Ewoks episodes!

Amazing.  I wish I’d been smart enough to do that.  I bought all my other vintage stuff 20 years ago when a real A-Wing pilot costs what a Stan Solo one does now… really expensive ones we’re Stormtrooper Luke and Pop Up Artoo at about $100 each, and Blue Snaggletooth and Yak Face set
Me back about $150 each.  Regular figures in good shape with accessories could all be had in lots at about $8 to $15 per figure.  I remember Fett being more expensive at about $30.

I’m fully expecting a nice loose set of Droids and Ewoks with real accessories is going to run me $5000 maybe when it’s all said and done?  Maybe a little more.  It’s to the point where a few of them are even hard to find listings of in good shape.  Everything is carded
Or AFA’d.

Hell, I wish I was paying attention around 1985 when you could get most of these for around a dollar!

Yeah that'd have been nice, you could have bought 250 of them for what I paid for these two that just arrived. :)

Great looking pickups on the Droids and Ewoks Rob. I’ve been surprised at how high those figures have gone up since I finished my set about a decade ago. I often wonder if I was starting now would I be willing to actually finish.

If you need a coin for that King Gorneesh lmk, I have a spare.

Kea Moll got here today... she's a little dirtier than the others so I might upgrade this one someday, but it's good for now.

Thanks Matt.  It's in good shape, and I didn't put batteries in it to try, but the auction listing said it works, which is cool.

Two more new arrivals... Dulok Scout and Logray.  I just need Wicket to be done with Ewoks.  7 Droids figures left to go though...

Are you just getting things off of ebay or do you have some secret hunting technique?  I have been kicking around the idea of trying to finish off my vintage figure collection, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
