Title: Customizing pod casts?
Post by: Phrubruh on October 21, 2005, 01:09 PM
I've recently been listening to alot of star wars pod casts from star wars fanworks.com (http://www.starwarsfanworks.com/) and one subject that never seems to be talked about is customizing. Does anyone know of any pod cast episodes that talk about customzing?

Phurby,

Why don't you make one?  ;)

Chewie,

A "podcast" is a downloadable audio format you get off the internet, which can be played on an MP3 player (like the eponymous iPod) or on your computer.

Many radio stations, like NPR, now feature downloadable podcasts of their radio shows.

Additionally, many, many people have begun putting podcasts on the web, where they can discuss any number of subjects.

Predictably, they are big in the "geek community".  For instance, the movie website chud.com often has podcasts available by the site's contributors, where they wax about various pop cultural events.

That just might be possible. Its an interesting hobby. I'd have to make a web site to go with it. Maybe have reviews of custom figures posted on the site. Maybe something were anyone can submit a custom for review on the podcast. Customizing techniques can be discussed and interviews with some of your favorite customizers. It seems like we could talk about alot of things.
