With Hasbro releasing the Flaming Grievous Target exclusive, why not produce Grievous that can "transform" into the 6-legged spider as he makes haste to escape Obi-Wan? It might make for an interesting figure if done right.
-
I think they should just make a SA Grievous, a SA Grievous could probably do the spider pose. ;D
-
I think when Hasbro first saw this character they probably thought. "Crap, we're going to have to make that..."
I agree an SA version CORRECT scale Grievous is overdue.

amen.

I'll concur with the others...
SA Grievous with the right torso articulation would be quite able to pull off the spider-walk. Grievous is one of those characters you just want that ONE ultimate version of. One that has pop-off hands for his fight with Obi, has a cloth robe with saber hilt pockets, super articulated that blows away any other SA figure... Even if it's a Deluxe figure, I'll pay it to get it.
Grievous and Jango Fett are two really snubbed figures for GOOD quality figures... And both deserve SA deluxe type treatment (tons of accessories, etc.).

Dont' forget 4 arms that can attach together to make 2. 8)

for some reason I want to start customizing a grevious now , ;)

Hey guys imagine if you will how awesome a 12inch sideshow grievous would be. Im sure it would have what we all want- height to scale, capable of assuming the hunched back posture, wide shoulders and all, the cloth cape with saber pockets and multiple lightsaber hilts for accessories! Sigh...
I second the Jango Fett motion. He deserves better! So does Commander Baccarra!!! What the heck was that crap they released? Give us a superarticualted Mace with cloth robe, a 41 repaint tactical ops, and a correct scale grievous!!! Last but not least, give us a SA emporor palpatine in his greyish cloak and tapered sleeves which he fights yoda in!!

Right, and it should be no less than 5" tall, not 3 3/4" like all the current releases that look like Grievous' little munchkin children.
-
Amazing how we don't notice the scale issue until someone brings it up. Ever since you did Dressel, it drives me nuts!

All he would need for the pop-off hands would be wrist articulation, unless you want one with scorch marks on his wrists. I think an SA Greivous would be hard for Hasbro, but still doable.

Yeah he should be the right size too. :) :-* :o :-[ ;D :'(

I've hesitated to give a thumbs up for this figure, but after thinking about it, it would be cool to have.
-
why not, it sounds funny ;)

Well I would get it, I am limiting myself to getting only (from the PT Movies this is) the good sculpts of Revenge of the Sith Figures and I havent even bothered looking at the grievouses out there, I would much prefer a SA with all the trimmings Grievous, even if it has to be an exclusive or a deluxe.
