Today in Wal*Mart (after a good timed Phone Call from a certain P'Dubbs of the Sith) I find out that there are 5 or so clone commanders on the pegs. I cash my Tax return and speed to walmart. (I'm bad, I know.) Anyway, I get there and there are 7 on the pegs, and 10 number 6 clones, 8 pilots, and 1 Pollis Masson or whatever, and that Blue Senator with a stick. I asked some lady how many cases they set out, and she told me just one. Any reports like this? :o

I did see 15 pilots yesterday at Walmart but nothing else new. I rather see commanders and clones.

Commanders and pilots peg warm here in Iowa, but I don't think we're getting solid cases of them (Palpy #35 warms too).

As long as it's Collection 1, there's really no problem at all getting those figures here. I fear with #41 and up that it might be a different story.

Yesterday my local WalMart got in like five or six cases of the Collection 1, Wave 5 figures (#41 - #44) and they didn't even put them all out. So at least up to 44 shouldn't be a problem.
I'm more worried about ANY waves post May 19th or at the latest, the week after.
That's why I think Hasbro is trying to rush as much to the market as they can - get as much out in the pipeline BEFORE the movie hits so if there isn't a post movie rush on the toys then at least they've sold through to retailers as much as possible (leaving the retailers holding the bag).

Maybe stuff is getting returned. There is only so much that can get sold on ebay for a profit.

Well - I know I recently returned some stuff - I had bought three Holo Yodas on the 10th of April and then over the month that followed - thanks mostly to by insane desire to buy as many Attacktix as possible - I acquired another four freebies - so I took the receipt for the three I actually bought and I returned three of them for TRU store credit (which I hope to use towards the TRU exclusive Anakin starfighter).
So I can definitely see how the glut of Clone Commanders and Pilots *might* be caused by returns, but if that were the case, there wouldn't also be the surplus of Exploding Grievous and Palpatine #35 as well... I just think that at WalMart plenty of Wave 4 and 5 collection 1 cases are starting to come in. I also think that it is incredibly smart that there are Clone Pilots a plenty around - especially since between both the Gunship and the ARC-170 you need a total of five of them just to fill all of the cockpits!

Today my closest TRU got in nothing but Collection 1 Wave 3 cases and were all (if I recall correctly) revision 3 casepacks. It sounds something similar to what you might have seen, Kevin. It included Clone Commanders, Clone Pilots, Magnadroids, 1 Yoda, 1 Vader, Palpatine and Exploding Grievous. There were at least 8 cases of those, which is enough, even if the clones are sold through, to choke out that TRU for at least the next week or two.

Once the Turbo Tank driver comes out, I think it would be awsome to get a solid case of clone army builders since they are all collection 1, accept the Gunner:P. It could go like this:
#6 clone x 1
#33 clone comander x2
#34 clone pilot x1
#38 clone gunner x2
#41 clone x 2
#49 Bacara x2
#54 Turbo Tank Driver x2
Or just exclude the Gunner and do two of each.
Makes sense.

The gunner has ****-sandwich arms. I wish they'd put the other clone arms on him...its not like they don't have the mold.

I haven't even notice the sandwich arms on the gunner until I read you post. :D
Now every time I see the gunner, I can almost here him saying hmmm hmm hmm hmm hmm toasty! :P

If you think about it, that is the only reason to remove the helmet. For a big toasty sub.
One thing that I like about the gunners is the leg artulation ;D. Because of it you can have them riding both the AT-RT and the speederbike. That is pretty cool, IMO.
