EE.com is too pricey and I like to support the little guys!   8)

EE is too pricey?  Not this time around...

Target/TRU = $7.44 each ($6.99 plus tax)
EE = $7.45 each ($89.44 with shipping for a case of 12)

Looks pretty much the same to me!   EE is techinically cheaper if you figure in the gas you waste searching Target/TRU while the EE figures are bought to your door.    :P

Seriously though, last I heard from Rick at NewForce was that they were holding off on the first two waves initially.  They do have the Geonosis wave up right now though...

Thanks for the quick reply.  So is it $5.99 for the box that holds 6?

Yep.  And the "boxes of 6" interlock so you can have a set up like Jayson or Scott have shown in the photos...

Other Toy Lines / Re: 2005: What Are You Collecting?

Here's where I see myself heading in the new year... which is VERY similar to last year - only had to substitute "2006 Saga" for "Rots" in the first paragraph.

Star Wars
With RotS 2006 Saga, I'll stick to my basics.  2 of each of the NEW basic figures (1 to open, 1 to keep carded), 1 of each of the recards/repaints (to keep carded), 1 of each of the NEW deluxe/ultra type figures, NEW vehicles, NEW box sets, etc.  I don't buy repack vehicles (usually).  The only thing I keep packaged is one of every basic figure carded.  Everything else gets opened.  I'll also probably continue to pick up some (not all) of the Galactic Hero 2-packs to stash away.

No Unleashed, no Master Replicas, no Gentle Giant busts or Bust-Ups, no Code 3 vehicles, no 12" stuff, no Sideshow Statues, no Attakus statues, no Kotobukaiya statues/models, no Die Cast vehicles, no Micro-Machine vehicles, no Action Fleet vehicles, no Jedi Force figures, no SW board games, no Wookiee super-soakers, no more WotC minatures, no Hallmark ornaments, no posters, no replica helmets, no Attacktix figures, no SW plush "buddies", no SW Choppers, no Mini-Unleashed, etc etc etc.

Kubricks
I'll pick up any new Batman stuff (villians and major characters such as Gordon, Alfred or NW) and of course any new Star Wars figures/sets.

DC Direct
I'll pick up some of the Green Lantern Wave planned for March to add to my Green Lantern shelf and most likely a few other GL items to add to the growing shrine...  ;)

That's about it I guess... unless something new pops up!

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: 'Lost' - Season Two
« on: January 11, 2006, 02:00 PM »
When I read the guide I thought tonights first episode was a rebroadcast of the "Other 48 Days" episode, but you're right it's an all new recap show of the season so far.

That seems to be ABC's January modus operandi.  They did the same sort of "recap/highlight" show for Desperate Housewives and have a few more planned for other shows.

On one hand, it's kind of boring if you already know all this stuff, but on the other hand it is handy to remind you about things you'd forgotten about...  plus you never know if they'll give anything away - if it's important enough to make the show, it's probably important to the overall storyline.   ;)
