The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Wave 13 - Expanded Universe
« on: February 4, 2010, 10:37 AM »
since Hasbro is all about changing things at the moment, would they be kind enough to change the case assormtent for this wave?  I can't buy a case of 12 figures that only includes 6-7 figures I want and spend $100 - I just don't do that.

So Hasbro, while you are changing things, can you please take out all the repack figures in this current assortment and replace them with repacked army building figures.  Then I can swallow this horsepill of horse****.

No, I really don't expect this to happen.

I guess I am also confused about the concern on Walmart's part.  Aren't we always told that these items are shown to retailers in advance in order to get them to "buy into" them?  Also, iirc, weren't these packs initially supposed to be at WM all the back in September '09?

Why is all the stink happening now, supposedly the month they are coming out, and why are we so late in the game with getting the info.

I dunno, something just sounds odd here.

I agree with what Pete said above, I think Hasbro specifically mentioning Zam was a tease that she will be coming in this wave.

I would echo a lot of what has already been said, so I won't - but one figure I don't recall seeing as I scanned the posts above is Merumeru (or whatever that Wookie's name is).  I would be down for him.

while I Dak isn't at the top of my list - I do find it very good news to hear he is coming, along with the CC pilot - I will nab them both (and an extra of the CC pilot of course).

But with all of these products coming out now focused on the release of this AT-AT (Snowspeeder Luke, AT-AT driver, AT-AT commander, Dak, Snowspeeder, etc?), I am kinda hoping we see the Snowtrooper Officer guy to go with it all.  While he is not high on my want list, like Dak, all the justifications and them some are out there to put this guy on the shelves right now imo.

I would think that since there are so few differences between him and regular trooper (new headsculpt. rank badge, and I think he is all white), this would be easy/cheap for Hasbro to do.

horse****!

that was the set I wanted the most.  tunghori or whatever his name is on ebay needs to get both of these figures in stock, for sale, at the same time and I will pull the trigger on making my first order from him.  he had them both up a while back, now only Plourr.

grrrrrrrr

McMetal, if you have the means, can you do some side by side comparisson shots of the CW Ayala with an ROTS one?

I am somewhat interested in that Aayla even though I don't really collect CW figures.  from the pics I have seen looks pretty darn good/non-animated.

will wait til I see her at retail.

IFett found the Target Evo sets for $7 and Exclusive TIEs for $11.  Very nice discounts!

do you mean the Target CW bp's?     edit:  just saw in the RA section, you mean the BP's

I was at the Target by me on the south side of town (South Bend, Indiana) and they had literally a mountain of Tie's sitting at full price in an aisle that used to be for all the other clearance toys.  They also, again literally, had a mountain of the GI Joe Snow Job then and now sets at full price, and about 16 GI Joe Rhino's at 25% off.

I grabbed one of the Rhino's, but I am sure I will be seeing one if not all of the above purchased at a low low price in my future.

agreed - if the head sculpt doesn't change he is just gonna be a basic imp commander - he won't be replacing my Veers.

Hopefully the WM exclusive ones will be hitting soon.  Curto has posted his photo archive pics of the Mohc/IG pack so that could be some sort of indication.  But then again, he did the EU wave some time ago (pretty sure before he even got around to the ESB wave) and I still haven't read any reports of those showing up.

I wanna grab the Rogue pack and probably the IG pack.

@Jeff and Jayson - yeah I see what you mean in that regard, and I both understand that and think that MOC collectors will dig it, but I serioulsy think that the vintage figure had a better likeness to Veers than this new one.   :P
