Celebration IV: Los Angeles / CIV Collector Panel Medallions
« on: June 6, 2007, 07:57 AM »
Hey everybody, long time...

I didnt get to go to CIV this year, but I am trying to piece together a set of the POTF style collector panel medallions that were handed out. So far it looks like Ill be managing to get Vader and a Jawa, but no luck on the others. Can anyone help me out on these? PM me, or just email me (aclowe@tds.net). Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help.

Well, I slapped some sense into myself before I got carried away, and cancelled the Kubys. As much as I miss these badboys, the prospect of getting back into them and re-obsessing has pushed me away. Im sure many of you remember my completist habits. Simply too expensive to play catchup at this time.

Anyone know if there are going to be any "catch up" marathons of season 3? I only recently got Seasons 1 and 2 on DVD (will finish Season 2 tomorrow), but I've missed all of Season 3 so far, and dont want to jump in 5 episodes late.

Thanks for the homecoming wishes fellas. Good to be back ;) I still have fond memories of this little obsession. It was hard leaving that throne of almight Kubrick collector ;)

Do I have any reasonable chances of finding a sealed carton of Series 4? Or earlier, but I was trying to keep optimistic about 4, realizing 3,2, and 1 are nothing but pipedreams...

That would be a great costume!

Last night's episode was pure classic. It may very well have been my favorite of the entire series so far.

Strike that. Found a place :) Ordered the OT Star Wars maquettes, along with Jack Sparrow and Saruman.

Any place still taking preorders for the standard animated (nonBW) Fett?

I love the "Anger" sign.

And the graffiti on the beach is kind of funny too: They even have jerks in New Zealand.

Are the Biker Scout w/ Speederbike or Black Hole Trooper out yet?

The diorama looks beautiful, but the figures just look aweful (and you're talking another grand in figures if you want to populate that diorama).

The upcoming Dagobah set looks phenomenal as well, and supposedly Jabba's palace is coming after that.

Well... What have I done.

Just ordered boxes of Series 5 6 and 7... I'm crazy, I cant believe I've done it. Once they arrive, I'll re-evaluate and see if Im still into them. If I like em, I'll have trade fodder...

I've not been following Kubricks too closely anymore, but I gotta say, Im really missing the little guys.

Let's say I wanted to get back into them. What would I need to expect to pay to pick up a full collection, including chase figures from all series, boxed sets, and carded figures? No Bearbricks of 400%, but everything else Star Wars Kubrick.

Hey everybody...

Been a long time since I've been here, but wanted to ask for your help. A fellow prop collector over at Rebelscum has fallen quite ill:

Master Replicas has kindly donated a YWing replica to be raffled off, with all of the proceeds going to help pay medical bills, etc. This isnt just a great opportunity to win a cool and expensive replica, but to help out a fellow Star Wars fan and prop collector.

Details can be found here:

Thanks everybody, and spread the word!

That's just creepy....

The machinery is a ruse: This thing is powered by malcontent and lost souls consumed over the past 1,000 years.
