Star Wars Action Figures / Re: Custom Works By Jedi_Master_Ben

I didn't know there were Bablyon 5 figures. Wait? You sculpted those? Wow. What a great idea for a custom alien. That first one with the mon mothma body looks great! Great paint job on the head.

Wow great stuff Chewie.

Rykrof: Good change up on his clothes there.

Wookiee: That was really brings out the fur. I like his eyes and the new brades. The brades almost look like rubberbands.

Clone Sniper: I wonder how the head wrap thing helps the snipper. It does give him a desert feel though and just makes him cool looking.

Nute Gunray: Old Nute sure has gaudy taste in clothes. When will the frog learn? The colors and clothes are very appropiate to the character.

Hod the blind Amill:  This one made me go WOW! That head looks great on the body. It looks production like it was ment to work that way. He kind of reminds me of those mystics from the Dark Crystal.

Thanks Chewie. No spray paint here. I painted the body glove first, then the black armor. No Hasbro painting for me.

Star Wars Action Figures / Shadow Stormtrooper
« on: March 27, 2006, 12:43 AM »
This is my version of the upcoming Shadow Stormtrooper exclusive. He is based on the back of the card picture of the Shadow Stormtrooper. I liked it because they used a blue body glove instead of just spray painting a stromtrooper black and adding some white highlight to the helmet like the one we are really getting. Sorry about brightness of the picture. It's next to impossible for me to photograph a shiny black figure and not lose detail in the reflections.

Great topic Brent. This is a stromtrooper my six year old did.

It seems this stormtrooper was standing guard out side an Imperial explosives facility that fronted as a paint factory. The rebels knowing that explosives were being created there, blew up the paint factory and this stormtrooper was caught in the explosion.

He kind of reminds me of Leather Face from Texas Chainsaw Masacur. That is one scary mutant Rykrof.

You think that's expensive. I see those going for $80 on ebay everyday.

Actually, those are way better and more creative than 95% of the clones I've seen on RS. I love the choice of colors and how the same colors are used on the belts and the pink on the sholders looks great with the yellow. I showed my son (6 years old) these and he wants to paint up a stormtrooper tonight. Two very cool clones Brent. Your son has a real eye for color.

I'll help you. Here is the bullets.

Bang!

Chewie, did that version of Word come with the old computer? It's possible that it was signature specific for that old computer's make and model. Basically Microsoft is trying to keep you from installing Word on many different computers.

As for the 3D hardware, did the monkeys that "repaired" your computer install the latest drivers for your video card? You need to figure out the model number of the video card and download and install the latest drivers.

Well, please hurry Brent. I'm next on the list and our favorite pimp daddy has a date with Sleeping Beauty and Snow White before his trip to Endor.

It's great to see Screed in a movie style version. I life how you combined the face with the droid face. The hat looks like it is on a little plateform on his head. Is there a way to lower his hat onto his head?

Since this piece is pretty much just a bullet proof vest, why not make the vest black like the police have for a flack jacket? You can write SWAT on the front in the imperial font.

I think I would have kept the helmet on his head. I really hate that hasbro head and its stupid expression. Great custom though dispite the head. A nice softgood skirt works well here. It would be nice, however,  to see a few scratches on the yellow painted armor. There are alot of scratchs on the white areas but the yellow paint is still perfect.

Nice gi joe mod. We don't get to see many human mechanics in the SW universe. He's nice and greasy.

What you get a C in?

I like how you brushed that armor. The gauntlets really kick too. This is got to be the best Rykrof yet.
;D Are you calling out DE's Rykrof as better than Chewies   ;)  ;)  Now that is sacrilege.

Yes....Yes I am. :P
