Dallas Cowboys released Adam Pacman Jones...  1 down, 50 more to go.

Now if I can just frame Wade and Tony No-Mo for giving TO a "Nancy Kerrigan" that will be 3 more out of the way.

Addition by Subtraction.

You can send Terrell Owens over to the Giants, we'll take him right now.  I'd give him 3 years $25 million in a heartbeat.

As a Giants fan....I never want to see TO in a Giants uniform.

The Emperor looks like if Palpatine and Yoda had a love child.

I'm also not sure about the Ugnaughts....I would have to see them in person.

The Luke and Leia look good, but not sure if I would get them.

The Hoth trooper and Needa are the best of the wave....I'll never see them in person.

Left 4 Dead is fun Ryan. However after you play all four campaign's in it, it gets boring fast. It's always the same thing zombies zombies and more zombies. Oh and some "special" Zombies.

Other than playing it on a harder level it's not challenging at all and there are no "Boss" levels.

Many of the achievements are easy to get. Only the many thousand kills (53,595 zombies killed?) is hard to get. Well not hard, but time consuming.

Sounds a lot like Dead Rising...another fun Zombie game.  The Lawnmower was my weapon of choice.   :D

I think it would be better to not release two large vehicles at the same time.

David, do you really think the AT-ST would be considered a large vehicle?  I figure it's more along the AT-TP size.

What you call being a party pooper, I call being a realist.

You know the whole reason I started doing the Q & A Compendium, was that so I could do this sort of thing.

Poop on people's parties?

It's the long piece that's missing, but ironically, part of me does not want to fix it since it's been that way for longer than I can remember.   :D

Sweet looking figure, but very pricey.

I hope so.  The top floor of the Death Star really needs some work.  The gun was broken years ago and so id the mechanism to make it pop off the turret.  There's also some discoloration on the top floor...must have happened while in storage.   :-\

Still, it's going to look pretty cool in my "vintage section".   ;D

Although we may see a new, larger AT-AT.  It will still be horribly underscaled.

Not exactly a new acqusition, but UPS finally delivered all my vintage playsets/vehicles from my parents' house!  The collection includes:

-Death Star Playset
-Land of the Jawas playset (Base and Escape Pod)
-Rebel Command Center Playset Base
-Dagobah Playset
-Turret and Probot Playset
-Droid Factory
-AT-AT
-Snowspeeder
-Landspeeder
-Speeder Bike
-Imperial Cruiser (Imperial Troop transport minus the electronics)
-CAP-2
-MTV-7
-Tauntaun
-AST-5
-Vehicle Maintenance Energizer
-Darth Vader's TIE Fighter

There's also a few old manuals, a sticker sheet for the snowspeeder and a bunch of ESB and ROTJ figure cards.  Most of this isn't in the best of shape (lots of dust from the basement, bad stickers and deteriorated foam), but they should look pretty damn good once cleaned up a bit.  Although well played with, I took very good care of my toys as a kid.

I'll have to have my parents look around for some of the cardboard backs for the Land of the Jawas and Rebel Command Center playsets...they were not with the bulk of my stuff.  There's also the Sears exclusive Cloud City playset somewhere...but that may have been thrown out since it was made out of cardboard.

I never expected the Front Page to be updated daily, but after reading this thread, I was wondering how things like Toy Fair or San Diego Comic Con would be covered in the future...if at all.

Welcome to our merry band of rogues.   :D

What Star Wars items are you focusing you collection on?  Vintage? Modern items? Jedi? Sith? Any specific character?

The Vintage Collection / Re: Willrow Hood
« on: January 6, 2009, 07:31 PM »
Agreed that Willrow should be one per case.  I also expect him to warm, but on the bright side, Yarna was sitting quite a bit but is long gone now following the Christmas rush.  Lots of kids must have got six boobied hideous action figures for gifts.

I wonder if I could make Willrow the last SW action figure I buy?

You should come down to Colorado Springs Brent...Yarna is Legacy's Moff Jerjerrod here.
